The big plus for Camping Bagatelle is its position - just a short walk over the bridge and you are in the heart of Avignon. The view over to the city is similarly amazing. The camping emplacements are large and the whole site is well shaded. There is a restaurant, shop and bar on site with everything that you might...

It is a charming place. Everything is clean. People are really nice and this accommodation has a beautifil view on this pope's palace. It is highly reecommended to stay there. If you need anything there is a shop. Come and enjoy it!

the best thing is probably the situation, alongside the river and near to Avignon Palais Des Papes . The site has rocky ground mostly with welcome shade, the shop and restaurant are adequate . Sanitaires are well equipped and regularly cleaned . The only negative point is questionable security especially the toilet block . on my first visit 5 years ago my...

We are a Canadian couple who (tent) camped 2 days at Camping Bagatelle in May. This was perfect for us backpackers. There was hardly anyone as it was still early in the season, RV neighbours were very nice and the little café had great croissants and espresso to start up the mornings. The bathrooms were basic but decent. We decided...

Hostel Bagatelle was the epitome of French charm. The staff were always warm and welcoming and the food was very good and abundant. There was no chance of anyone going hungry especially with the copious packed lunches. The rooms were basically equipped as you would expect in a hostel but clean. An ideal venue for a school trip or for...

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were a group of 35 school children and 4 staff. The site was superb, within easy walking distance of the city centre. The welcome was very hospitable, even though we arrived very late. My room was immaculately clean and comfortable, and it was cleaned on a daily basis. The shower was powerful and very welcome...

Located on an island close to the main sites, its a big site , with all the facilities and decent electricity and wifi. We couldn't get TV as we were under the extensive tree cover, but in summer it is so necessary, so you cant have it all ways. A couple of eating points and a bar, the shop is...

The most awful camping I have been sleeping on in South of France in my 11 days journey. Thanks God only one night. Just after crossing the entrance, you begin to feel unsafe. And that is the worst of everything. Awful ground, dimply lit paths in the evening, sad atmoshpere, hungry thin cats walking around. In addition, hardly any toilet...
