We stayed here 3 nights after completing a Rhone River cruise and loved the location just off Place L'Horage (lots of restaurants with outdoor seating on this square). We were in Room 204 with two windows with step out French balconies. Room was large with king bed and a twin bed, good hanging storage and shelving for folded clothes. Room had air conditioning, mini fridge and coffee and tea makings in room. Light did come in from street lights but I used binder clips to clip curtains closed. Bathroom was small with a typically small corner shower and limited toiletries. The elevator was tiny but served the purpose. Breakfast area was small but there was a great selection of fresh fruit, assorted breads, cereal, yogurt, juices, and coffee and tea makings. The front desk was very helpful and printed out our travel documents, called taxi for us, and provided information on trains. This is a great location (5" walk to Palais des Papes) with plenty of restaurants within 3-4 blocks.

This hotel is ideally located for visiting Avignon and is walking distance from the station. I was a bit worried about being on the first floor overlooking a busy street, but in the end it wasn't as noisy as expected - although there was a lot of street lighting which meant the room never got properly dark. Our room was also quite small, but fine for one night. The breakfast was probably one of the best I have had in France, varied and excellent value for money.

Traveling with my baby, checked into Hotel Regina, noted that the maid sprayed the room heavily with perfume right before I entered, and spent a brief time in the room. When I returned later the perfume had cleared and the room smelled clearly of cigarette smoke. I asked the night clerk if he could switch my room due to the bad health effects of smoke on babies. He refused in spite of there being rooms available and became extremely irate, yelling at me when I continued to insist that I couldn’t keep my baby in a room with smoke. I’d read other reviews of this happening but thought they were exaggerations. No exaggeration. Finally I insisted that we call the owners, who changed the room begrudgingly after I started to cry and didn’t apologize for the clerk’s bullying. New room was a downgrade and I wasn’t reimbursed for the difference in price.

Dear Miss Decidedly you do not forget any site to show your aggressiveness and abuse the copy paste. I must remind you, dear miss, that you were able to take possession of the room well before the arrival time, for your ease of management of your baby, that you enjoy the room from 13:30 to 18:30 (time you have gone for a walk). During the afternoon, you had no complaint or complaint (and the, indeed, I would have understood better and would have acted accordingly) but you waited for your return around 9:30 pm to arrive and ask vehemently, to change of room under pretext the smell of cigarette. Our night watchman moved and did not feel anything, but when you told him that you had not used the room he could see that the 2 beds had been served as well as the bathroom. towels and you even did the laundry. In front of your behavior, he called me at my home and I moved to see that there was no smell of cigarette. Believe me, dear Miss, as a professional I would have confused myself in apologies (see more) if there had been any problem. To please you in front of your exaggerated tears, I gave you the only room with 2 beds that I had no additional charge and that you have accepted, knowing that you use 2 rooms for the price of one. My night watchman did his job and I see no reason to remonstrate with him. As for the opinions, I think the notes show your bad faith. After reading your last remark, dear Miss, it might have been wiser to ask me for the award on your arrival which would have avoided all this stirring house. Very dear Miss, the possibility of putting opinions does not make you the queen !!!!! and I think that, in view of my age and your youth, your bad faith, and your actions, it is you who should have excused you on leaving. Very cordially. Francoise

Hotel has a lift. Room is big and simple. Can use alittle more upkeeping, feels alittle weary. Reception staff-some is really friendly and speaks english, some is not helpful at all and mentioned do not understand english when requesting for bath towels. The breakfast was nicely prepared by this really friendly lady who makes sure guests were comfortable and had what they need.

We recently stayed here for two nights before starting a river cruise. This hotel was a great choice for us. We had a room on the first floor facing the street which was quite roomy and well appointed. The location was excellent with the town square and papal palace only a few minutes away. There were numerous dining options within a short walk. We had breakfast at the hotel on one day but felt almost 10 euros for what was being offered was a bit expensive. Despite this I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would stay there again. For those who maybe looking for accommodation when doing a river cruise, the walk from the hotel to the dock with our suitcases was straightforward and only involved a few metres of cobblestones
