We stayed here 3 nights after completing a Rhone River cruise and loved the location just off Place L'Horage (lots of restaurants with outdoor seating on this square). We were in Room 204 with two windows with step out French balconies. Room was large with king bed and a twin bed, good hanging storage and shelving for folded clothes. Room had air conditioning, mini fridge and coffee and tea makings in room. Light did come in from street lights but I used binder clips to clip curtains closed. Bathroom was small with a typically small corner shower and limited toiletries. The elevator was tiny but served the purpose. Breakfast area was small but there was a great selection of fresh fruit, assorted breads, cereal, yogurt, juices, and coffee and tea makings. The front desk was very helpful and printed out our travel documents, called taxi for us, and provided information on trains. This is a great location (5" walk to Palais des Papes) with plenty of restaurants within 3-4 blocks.

This is a small little hotel in the heart of the city, the staff are very friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome.
Prices are good for a city centre, my room was very big and the bed was very comfy, if you wanted to be slightly picky you can say a little love could be given to the room just to tidy up some of the rough edges since it was last decorated, but this really is being picky, it was a lovely room with aircon.
Breakfast was really nice, the normal pastries where there, but some specialty breaks and cakes, and lots and lots of jams, massive selection, very pleased with breakfast and I would recommend taking it.
My room overlooked the main street and with the windows closed I couldn't hear anything, very quiet and in a great location.

Hotel was well located and easy walking to most places of interest. No on site parking but you can park at Palais papes parking about 5 minute walk away. Room was spacious but aged except for the toilet that seemed more recently updated. We had a slightly higher range room which had 2 sets of small balcony’s overlooking the Main Street below. The person at the counter when we arrived late at night did not speak any English but helped with directions to the car park

The hotel itself is very good. Decorated with a great deal of artistic flare, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was exceptional. However the hotel is located in what is probably one of the noisiest streets in the city. When we arrived there was a busker with a sound system directly in front. The man at reception told us this usually went on until between midnight and one in the morning, however the night we slept in the hotel there was a street party just down to road for the end of the "on" festival which went on until well after two. Then of course there was all the noise of people leaving the party and the icing on the cake was that some of the people from the party were sleeping in the next room and then had a very long conversation. When we finally got to sleep we were woken up a couple of hours later by very noisy street cleaning machines. So great if you want to be part of the action or are a very easy/heavy sleeper but otherwise we had a very poor nights sleep. The other problem was parking. All of the hotels in Avignon say they have parking because there are public parking places. I asked for some details before arriving but had no reply and when we got to Avignon discovered that the whole old town was closed off. I phoned the hotel who told me to show my reservation. This let us into the old town but not into the street where the hotel was, so we had to find a parking in a side street and traipse through the town with our suitcases trying to find Hotel Regina. When we arrived e were told to park at the Palais de Papes parking but it would have been a lot easier if we had known before hand. Plus there is no way to drop off somebody with reduced mobility in front of the hotel as the parking is 10 minutes walk away and the street is pedestrianized. All of these problems are for the festival only, at other times of the year I am sure this is an excellent hotel choice

Last month, my wife and I spent a full week at this hotel. The location and the staff were the best aspects of our stay. We were happy with the help received booking restaurants, finding sites, and answering many questions.
Our room (201) was very clean, extremely quiet, of good size, and fitted with a nice comfy bed. It also had a nice charming balcony with a side-street view. We appreciated the daily change of towels and toiletries. A QR code opening-mechanism had been recently installed to enter the room, but it did not work well for us. It worked only a couple of times. Luckily, we could still use old-fashion keys.
The breakfast buffet was not the best we ever encountered. It had all the basic ingredients of European Breakfasts, but lacked in selection and variety. We enjoyed the sliced fresh fruit and the coffee maker every day.
There was one aspect of our room which we really disliked. The bathroom was of very odd shape, fitted in a rectangular space behind the bed. The overall dimensions were about 12 feet long by 2 1/2 width. The space taken by the bathroom fixtures (sink, toilet, shower), left just a few inches to walk from the door to the shower. Particularly bothersome was the toilet seat which left perhaps no more than 5 inches between the edge of it and the wall. Obviously, when seated on it, it was necessary to splay your legs or to sit sideways. Anyone over, lets say, 6 feet 3 inches tall would have serious problems.
The shower space was also very small, making it difficult bend and walk in and out of it. We paid a rate of about 140 euros/night, which we feel is expensive considering the characteristics of this hotel.

This is the wonderful address for a charming stay. The room allocated by the friendly staff offers all the cozy comfort desired as well as a splendid view of the old town and the dancing plane trees under the mistral. The renovated period house is arranged and decorated in a very pleasant combination of selected styles. The breakfast is princely: beautiful variety of exquisite sweet and savory dishes in a generous buffet. The location is ideal for cultural visits (complete information available at reception), shopping and restaurants. We will come back without hesitation!

This is a lovely Hotel…I was lucky to have a Cnr room with 2 large opening windows onto the street….The bed was comfy the shower plentiful.
The position of the hotel is superb ..right where you want it to be…
The couple who run it also own it ..& were really helpful.
Hygiene here is high..particularly in the breakfast room…others could take note of the simple practices that actually make a difference.
The breakfast is plentiful with really good variety & nice & fresh.
Unfortunately I only had two nights..but would not go anywhere else.I just loved it.

Few staeps for the very centre, close to Papails de Papes, clean rooms, reasonably priced. Breakfasts lead by a nice lady, interesting local products, pastry cut for tastings, various honeys and spreads. Recommended

This hotel is ideally located for visiting Avignon and is walking distance from the station.
I was a bit worried about being on the first floor overlooking a busy street, but in the end it wasn't as noisy as expected - although there was a lot of street lighting which meant the room never got properly dark.
Our room was also quite small, but fine for one night. The breakfast was probably one of the best I have had in France, varied and excellent value for money.

This is an exceptionally clean hotel….the standards are very high not only in the rooms but in particular the breakfast dining room…
The room was nice & fresh…bed comfortable ..water pressure in shower very good with loads of hot water.
My room was on the corner of the hotel with 2 large windows that opened onto the streets below….
This is owned & run by a couple who are very nice to speak with.
Breakfast here was exceptionally good ..loads of variety & plenty of it…..& again the hygiene standards ..were excellent.
The position of the hotel to everything is good…it is close to all the important stuff that you might want to do….& if you come in by train …just a easy walk straight up the Main Street….
I had a wonderful 2 day stay…& was wishing that I could have stayed longer…there is much to see in this whole area..
