If you are looking for good value in a bed and breakfast while close to all the tourist attractions of old Avignon, you will find it here at L'ilot Bambou. While traveling in Provence in September and October we were using Avignon for a base for daily trips. Although initially looking for an apartment, the price and the attraction of...

L'ilot Bambou is a comfortable and creative B&B run by a charming and very friendly hostess. The bedrooms are thematically decorated and comfortable for the price. Our room (Batik) was big and clean with a great shower. The only down side was that there was only a curtain separating the bathroom area from the bedroom instead of a door. This...

This lovely B&B is very well located, just a short walk from the walled city. Tatiana and her husband were very warm and welcoming, and their house is set within beautiful gardens. Our room was well equipped and nicely decorated and we appreciated the fan on the warmer nights. It was a pleasure to have breakfast with the other guests...

Lilot Bambou is well located on the island between Avignon and Villeneuve les Avignon, in a quiet spot. Tatiana is very welcoming, the rooms attractively decorated and the garden is delightful. We enjoyed breakfast served at the big garden table with other guests. A very relaxing place to stay .

This is a delightful place from just on the other side of the bridge from the walled town of Avignon. The gardens are beautiful. Tatiana and Jean-Philippe are exceptional hosts. Our room was very spacious and there was free parking (rare in Avignon). Breakfast was prepared with many of the fruits that they grow in their garden. The WiFi was...

We planned to visit Provence and after several conflicting and confusing emails with Tatiana, we made a reservation. Unfortunately, a couple of days later, I was so embarrassed because I had to write and apologize for canceling the reservation. I was expecting a scolding but instead received an understanding reply.

The family who owns the place is adorable. Mme COSTE is a very charming host, the breakfasts are always a good time to share stories and advices about the region. The rooms are all different and very nicely decorated. The location is ideal. You leave your car in the parking in front of the house, and go on foot to...

A wonderful B & B which was a little oasis after sightseeing in lovely Avignon, which is a short stroll over the bridge. The gardens here are very cool and inviting with lots of different areas to sit in. Room very clean and quiet, free parking just outside your room, breakfast taken sat outside with fellow guests, which is a...

What a delightful surprise! As stated in the recent review from "nylon53", we too were thoroughly overwhelmed by this wonderful home and gardens. Hosts Tatiana & Jean Philipe are extremely nice and accomodating in every way. And the breakfasts -- manifique! The house is an easy walk over the bridge to the main old town center, and there is even...
