This hotel is perfect for a tourist or anyone who is in Cannes for a convention. It's a beautiful 5 min walk from the Palais des Festivals. It's about 2 blocks from the beach. It's clean and really well decorated. The breakfast is very basic and while I was there the WiFi was not great but the staff was so...

Lovely place, really well located and great staff. The beach they recommend is fairly pricey and others can be found for less. Food and drinks were very good and service always with a smile. Wi-Fi was pretty poor, in fact I'm not sure we even managed to connect half of the time

Been there for business travel and I can only recommend it. Rooms and services, all good. Only the WiFi sucks a bit as it is very slow. Next to this, great value for money. The hotel is very close to La Croisette and the interior is modern. Staff is very helpful.

This visit confirmed that boutique is not for me. Nothing was drastically wrong but just felt a bit claustrophobic and lacked the ambience/buzz of a larger hotel chain. Reception staff were fine with greetings but barman would not voluntarily say Bonjour/Bonsoir, so felt it lacked warm intimate feel that I would of expected. However my biggest gripe was the lack...

We did not choose this hotel as is was booked by our tour company but it was excellent. The only slight niggle was that the duvets were too heavy for this time of year. But the rooms were excellent and the breakfast was continental or English at no extra cost. Lovely terrace and even a little pool with sunbeds.

A great place to explore Cannes from! Our two kids, 5 and 7, loved the pool and the ambiance of the hotel. Breakfast not over the top, but with all the good stuff. Great, spaceous hotel room. The beds were to firm for our taste, seen as the only drawback.

Good value, in center of Cannes which is truly appreciable. Rooms are quiet big and really nice. Food is honorable. Part of the staff is really pleasant and efficient. I truly recommend it because of its position.

I just spent a week at the Hotel Canberra which is very conveniently situated in the middle of everything in Cannes. It is close to the Palais, on Rue d'Antibes and also looks over a quiet street on the other side. The rooms are well done, not large but just enough to be comfortable. The personel are very friendly, helpful...

Great boutique hotel right in centre of Cannes. Room a good size for 2 of us & a lovely bathroom. All hotel spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly & helpful. Swimming pool small but ideal. Lovely seating area outside in the gardens. Can't comment on breakfast as ate out each morning. Train station nearby and we visited Monte Carlo, Nice &...

This is a smaller sized hotel but in a great position for enjoying Cannes. Room was on the small side but it was very nice and clean and the bed was good. Staff were particularly friendly and spoke English well. The pool as the pictures show is very small but it did the job for cooling off in the heat....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A charming 4 star Boutique Hotel, the Hotel Le Canberra offers a highly elegant environment. Unrivaled in their refinement, the rooms and suites overlook the prestigious rue d'Antibes or the garden with swimming pool. This very glamorous and resolutely modern decor was inspired by the style of the 1950s. The 'classic chic' style of decoration joins forces with the superior comfort of the accommodation. Share a few moments of relaxation in the Le Cafe Blanc lounge bar and restaurant (opened from April to October). On the patio or terrace, you'll find the very same on trend and glamorous atmosphere. Then, you can head to the hotel garden and the swimming pool surrounded by bamboo and bougainvillea, or else the gym to keep yourself in shape, before finishing off with a session in the sauna. Quiet and ideally located, the hotel offers top-of-the-range services for an incomparable stay. Close to the hotel, you'll find the famous Croisette, the prestigious rue d'Antibes and its luxury shops, the Palais des Festivals, the TGV train station and sandy beaches. ... more   less
