Took the TGV down from Paris to Nice for the Euros and to our pleasant surprise discovered en-route that the train stopped at Cannes both on the way to Nice and the way back. What's more when we got out of the station we looked across the road and there was the hotel! Slightly weird entrance next to the boulangerie...

After several nights of bunking in dorm rooms, my stay at a single room at Alan Robert’s Hotel was a well- deserved treat. The hotel’s location is unbeatable – it’s just a 2- minute walk from the Cannes train station and about 8 minutes to La Croisette. The room I stayed in looked a bit cramped and dated but was...

a stones throw away from the croisette , Robert's is a tiny but comfortable hotel in Cannes. The family run hotel has a lovely charm as members of the extremely friendly family go out of their way to help their guests. the rooms are very small, but room service is excellent. the place is surrounded by great eats and has...

The moment I moved in I wanted to cancel my reservation but unfortunately the one I wanted was fully booked for those days. It's clean, one of the cheaper ones, but for the same price and location and I would choose something like PLM hotel which is just round the corner. The people at the reception were friendly (we were...

Spent 3 Nights here in June/July - I had picked some of the cheapest hotels available at hotels.com so I did not have any high hopes for a fantastic hotel. It's centrally located, but the standard is fairly low, but still it's clean. Based on what you pay, and what you get in return, it's quite ok. + very centrally...

I booked this hotel last minute yesterday. It's very basic, but cheap! I had a nice welcome at the door and the receptionist carried my bags up the stairs (very heavy so happy about that). There's a lift which takes you up to your floor. The room is quite basic as I said, but I was very happy with the...

It looks like in Cannes anything can be a hotel and a lot of them are in bad condition. This one has two stars, with tasteless interior and needs total refurbishment. The bed, wardrobe, blankets, table, chair and whole bathroom need to be completely changed. I stayed in double-bed room which is very small and you need to turn flank...

This is a VERY basic hotel. Positives: Right in the middle of town, close to the beach, shops & restraunts. Room was warm & dry (though I'd hate to use it in Summer), and there was also free WiFi - Woo Hoo. Negatives: Room wasn't clean. We had a triple for 80Euros for the one night & that was very...
