we really look forward to staying here each August for the 15/08. The hotel is very well run and serve a lovely breakfast. Its right in the middle of things with just a short walk to the restaurants, bars and shops.
This hotel is so basic... the beds mattress are so thin.. the rooms small.. dirty.... noisy.... The breakfasts are adequate start to the day The position of the hotel is ideal toiletries are provided which is good.
We recently stayed at the hotel - from arrival to departure everyone at the hotel was very friendly. Rooms are compact but are very clean and the balcony overlooking the piste was great. You can ski in/out from the hotel too which is another plus. There are bars and restaurants nearby which can be reached via a covered walkway so you don’t have to go outside if you don’t want to. Highly recommend.
We are a family of 5 and stayed here February half term. The location of the hotel is great for skiing - you really can ski in & out (although the last bit of the ski in was a bit steep for the kids so they slid in)! We had 2 interconnecting triple rooms. I think all triple rooms over look the car park. We didn’t spend much time in the room, just to sleep really, but they were warm and clean, beds were comfortable & enough room for all our things! Breakfast was included, it was basic but nice, usual continental, baguette, croissants, ham cheese & boiled eggs. It was a basic hotel (3 star) what you would expect for a 3 star. What made our stay was the staff, so friendly and welcoming, always happy to help. We would stay here again for a base for skiing.
Having visited Isola a few times now I can say without a doubt that Hotel Le Druos is by far the best place I have stayed at on the piste to date, very high standards, absolutely fantastic in terms of customer experience and stay. Rooms are of a great standard; clean and tidy with fresh towels, bedding and toiletries and great WiFi throughout the hotel and rooms. Food is also excellent. Upon initial enquiries with a lady called Paula, who went above and beyond to assist in terms of booking and travel information, her communication and attention to my requirements were second to none, very helpful with timely responses to all my questions. The owner Valerie was also exceptional and made our stay very special indeed. I honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else now and can’t wait to return with my family next year. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. The owner and her staff are absolutely superb!!…
Valerie and the team provide a first class service, friendly and professional. Located diectly on the piste, its fast access to the ski lifts in winter and a great hiking base in summer. The accomodation is cosy and clean, breakfast is lovely. The hotel is part of the main complex so you can get to the shops and restaurants, and buy your ski pass without braving the cold! We will be back!
Having stayed in several Isola hotels, this one is definitely the best option for family groups. Good ski in/out location, very friendly and helpful staff and, whilst the decor is a little dated it’s extremely comfortable, showers are good and the breakfast/lounge area is a nice area to chill out in if your not skiing. Breakfast is also very good and overall it’s superb value for a ski hotel.
Breakfast very good ,friendly and helpful staff.Rooms clean and warm, ideal location on slopes ,locker supplied for skies.Enjoyed the sauna with magnificent snow views.Lovely restaurants nearby.See you next year hopefully.
This is the best place I've stayed at Isola 2000. Wonderful team, lovely decor and a real alpine atmosphere ski hotel, right on the piste. Soo much better than the New Chastillion. We really enjoyed our stay, so much so that we stayed for another night.
We have just returned from a few days away skiing and staying at this hotel. I am very fussy and always look at all reviews before we go on holiday. This hotel was perfect. It was really warm especially in the bedrooms. The sauna was a bonus and perfect at the end of the day. The breakfast was just what you needed. The boot room and lockers were perfect for your ski equipment. All of the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Book direct with hotel as we booked with booking.com and it was expensive.
