The location was perfect. Our room was right on the water with a balcony. It was one of the small rooms on the 2nd floor, but it had 2 large closets with shelves and a nice size bathroom. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was more than enough to choose from. The eggs were so light, fluffy & tasty. The hotel was very clean. We want to come back for sure.

Our second visit here , with friends, to go to Monte Carlo tennis . Hotel clean , friendly and very well situated. We have single rooms which are comfortable and the bathroom is spotless. Beach 2 minutes walk away . Staff extremely friendly and helpful , highly recommend this hotel , will be going back again next year !

Beautiful hotel. comfortable bed and shower, Great views whether you face the street or the beach. Breakfast included and it’s a buffet with quite a bit of food, various juices, hot chocolate, etc. Hotel opens right up to the beach. The beach is a pebble beach so you might want to wear beach shoes or you can buy from any store nearby.

This is a 3 star hotel which could be a 4 if they ironed out some issues. The plus points are it’s location,overlooking the sea. We booked a double disabled room but got a twin, not that good for a wedding anniversary! However it had a walk in shower and raised toilet. Some issues with emptying the bathroom bin, and the maid removed a screwdriver I needed for my disabled scooter. They did find it the next day. The restaurant was unbookable until the last night which meant we had to find somewhere to eat that was disabled friendly. Parking is a nightmare! It’s on street or in an underground car park, albeit at a discounted rate, however if you can find a space you should pay at a pay & display, times are Monday-Saturday, 9-12, 2 -7 but there seems to be no enforcement, we saw a car with a ticket dated 3 days ago! The website said all rooms had tea & coffee making facilities, but no, we were given a kettle, but had to pay a 20€ deposit. It also says room service but no. If they sorted out the restaurant, tea and coffee facilities gave us a room we had booked (double not twin) and room service it might make a 4 star. The price is a bit high for a 3 star, but as they say location, location, location.…

The hotel was absolute perfect. It locaited in a very beautiful city Menton next to the beach. The restaurent meal was very delicious. The room was very clean and very comfortable. We went to konaco and Nice by train and tha train station was about 10 minutes far by walk. I can recommend this hotel to everybody who want to visit this cities.

A nice hotel in a very good location (close to the beach, stores and old town). The staff was very friendly and serviceminded. The hotel are a bit worn-out, but everything was very clean which is the most important thing.

Amazing, but too short. Spent 4 nights in early May. People must remember this is an old historic building with all its quirks. Room cleaned daily. Reception staff all excellent ( including the new member of staff) wish I could have stayed longer

Stayed for four nights with 2 friends to go to Monte Carlo tennis .Lovely position just by the sea and easy to walk to station .Room clean and comfortable , overlooked the street but not particularly noisy after 9 pm . Bathroom spotless . Garden ok , maybe new furniture? Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful . Highly recommended

We simply couldn't fault our seven night stay at the Balmoral. Its location is perfect - both for the seafront and for all the town's amenities. Our room was spacious, and the bed very comfy. We liked the storage shelves in both the bedroom and bathroom - we've stayed in lots of hotel rooms and storage space like this (rather than just a table) is something we don't often get. It was very useful for a week-long stay. The shower was modern and very efficient, as was the toilet. We've stayed in places where there was some sort of issue with the shower or toilet - it makes such a difference when things work so well! Our room was cleaned immaculately during our stay and the rest of the hotel was kept very clean too. We couldn't fault the staff on reception for the help we received from them and the breakfast buffet was excellent - there was a good choice and the various food items were always refilled quickly. We never had to ask for anything. Breakfast is served in a spacious room on the ground floor with a wonderful view of the sea - a fantastic way to start each day. Yes, there were a couple of elements of the hotel's decoration which could be updated, but in terms of our room and our stay in general, it was excellent. Highly recommended and very good value for money too! The Balmoral is in the centre of my picture of the seafront - with the red and white striped awning (the breakfast room!)…
