Great location with convenient garage and within easy walking distance of the old town. Spacious standard room with a large shower, great bed. Roller shutters allowed for complete black-out in the room. Staff were generous accommodating our needs.

We have stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and it has been very nice. Clean and tidy, close to everything we wanted and needed. Next door you find the Palais de L’Europe with a great art exhibition from Denis Rubas, plus the tourists information center. This hotel is close to the beautiful beach promenade and the Casino, for those that might be interested. The hotel doesn’t got a breakfast area, but breakfast is served in the hotel room, or just coffees, as we wanted, straight after we called and ordered it. Very efficient and nice. Besides one can find breakfast served everywhere in Menton. The rooms got nice balconies with a view over a beautiful garden. Very interesting for those who wants to take a closer look. A bit too busy with the car traffic, but as the room got double windows so it’s not a problem at all. Aircon works as well. A special thank you to Ann Sofi and Valerie for their nice hospitality …

if you look for a simple, nice, but very comfortable hotel in center town in Menton, you can sleep at this place, a little beat expensive (around 100 euros for a night for a double room) you can take the breakfast ( continental) and it's quiet and calm:no noises inside but near the famous Casino!! I had a sea view and mountain!! Charming!! I recommand thisplace

I had a comfortable 4 night stay at the Hotel Chambord. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and I found it to be a very good deal for the price. I had a lovely balcony overlooking a park (with mountain views! see pics), with lots of room to hang swimsuits/towels to dry off. The room was big and light and bright, but had an automatic shutter to block out morning sun. The location was great, just 2 blocks from the beach and a few minutes stroll to old town, with a few good bars and restaurants right on the same block. I didn't notice any noise issues, either from other guests in the hotel or from outside, but I did keep the patio doors closed and AC on to block out noise/light. Look, this isn't a 5 star hotel, but it's a good value for the money. It was clean and well kept, the staff were polite, the room was quite large, and the location was good. If you're looking for a budget friendly option in Menton I would highly recommend the Hotel Chambord; I would stay again! My biggest complaint was the wi-fi, which kept kicking me off. Not a huge deal unless you are traveling for business.…

I don't think I stayed at the same hotel as some of the reviews. I have no idea where the "mountain views" came from. This is a very tired hotel that needs a massive renovation to every room I am sure. We were placed in a "renovated room" 29. It had a pretty balcony (according to my wife), but that was it's only redeeming feature. The worst was the bathroom, which I won't try to describe. The hotel is in a good location, but needs a million dollars spent on it, which the owners don't have.

We were looking for an hotel that had parking and a location close to the center for walking. This hotel met both of those needs. Luckily, we only stayed one night. The hotel needs major updates and there is a slightly stale smell throughout the hotel. The carpets are dingy and the tiles in the bathrooms need an overhaul.

This hotel is located very close to the beach and 10 minutes walk from old town. Room was clean and own balcony was nice. Hotel have only in room breakfast, but near by is very good bakery. Bed and pillows were quite hard if you are used tempur or soft bed. Wifi was slow and connection worked poorly.

I was in this hotel for business. The receptionist was nice and available. One positive aspect of the hotel is the parking of property, far 50 m from hotel and closed. Internal furniture is quite aged and should be updated. Breakfast provided in the room, if requested, is a good idea. Price are lower than the average of Cote d'Azur. Structure recommended for business for short staying.
