Unusually for me I booked this hotel in advance partly due to the photographs of the interior and the antique furniture that seemed to abound the property. Ideally set in what seems to be a more peaceful part of the town we arrived through the electronic gate and parked up very close to the entrance. I wouldn't be surprised if... More

Un bon petit hôtel. Près de le centre-ville. This hotel is very well located. My wife and I stayed here for one week (before October 2013, but this was the earliest date I could list from the dropbox option, as I'm only getting around to reviewing it). As some reviewers have noted, this hotel is either, depending on your outlook... More

Spend 2 nights in this charming hotel in Menton. The hotel is located in a quieter part of town yet still only one road away from the sea and about a 15 minute walk to the old city center. The rooms are large and clean yet the hotel itself is a little run down and would need some updating. Still... More

The hotel is a lovely old building with big rooms, very close to the sea, but it is getting shabby. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Maria. Our first room was not good and we were going to change hotels but they offered us a choice of 3 others! We changed to the one next door to the... More

My family and I have been staying in this hotel for many years, it is a beautiful old building and this is part of it's rustic charm. The staff were as ever extremely helpful and accommodating and the location is great just over the road from the beach and a 5 minute walk from town. Many of the rooms do... More

I stayed at Aiglon hotel for 3 nights and the experience was not good at all. The hotel is very old and no renovation so far. Doors, beds, carpets, bathrooms everything is old, smell bad. My room was in front of the Reception, n.42. I was not expecting a castle, but hey, it's a 3 stars hotel, there's not supposed... More

This used to be a nice place to stay but no longer. The owner is reluctant to spend any money and consequently the place is very run down. This in spite of extravagant rates for miserable rooms and inefficient bathrooms. Breakfast at euro 10 is a farce and they charge euro 9 per day for parking which is full most... More

Many years ago I found hotel Aiglon in tripadvisor, I celebrated my birthday there and it was really a hit. And now once again! If you like a touch of the old times in Menton you will love the atmosphere in Aiglon situated in a beautiful garden with palmtrees and near the beachpromenade. The staff is very friendly. This is...
