Amazing position. Just out from the old town. Super clean and comfortable. But mostly the host are kind, helpful and friendly. If I will ever be back in Menton I will book here again. It was a very nice stay and the reception 24 hours is an additional good point

Stayed for four nights in September. Spotlessly clean hotel, comfortable bed and extremely helpful, friendly owners. Superb position for beach and Old Town. Beautiful sea view from small balcony. Hope to be back.

We loved our week staying at the Palm Garavan. Its location is perfect - at the end of the town where the beaches and cafes are good, it's not crowded and you get amazing views of the Old Town. In fact, everything's easily walkable from the hotel and it makes a terrific base. Catherine and Olivier - the owners - are unfailingly helpful, charming and run the place with warmth and calmness. Our room had a cool balcony overlooking the sea and mountains - a view we could have looked at endlessly. We could have done with a bit more storage, but apart from that the bed was really comfortable, the air con and wifi worked excellently and the blinds made it cool, dark and quiet at night. On the last day we had a bit of a panic on how to get to the airport as there was a rail strike - but Catherine helped us alter our arrangements at the last moment and ensured we made it to the airport easily on time. That personal touch is so important. We had breakfast at the hotel each day on the pleasant little terrace on the pavement which was a nice place to start the day. We shared a Standard and an Express - more than enough for our needs and of a very good quality, all served by the charming and cheerful Olivier. And the coffee is really REALLY good - an essential for me. We explored lots of Menton and the environs from this comfortable and welcoming base and couldn't have been happier with our choice. We are already certain we'll go back. Highly recommended.

We stayed a week here in a room with a balcony and side view of the sea. The room was clean and basically furnished, with comfortable beds. There is a lift and someone on duty in reception all night. You can have breakfast at various charges: we tried the simplest which was OK, but ended up just having some fruit in our room, which you can buy in the market in Menton or at the supermarket which is a few minutes from the hotel (turn left). There is no kettle so we brought our own and managed with long life milk. It's a pity that tea and coffee in the room is not available - it would make all the difference, plus a small fridge. The owners and the young guys on duty in the evening were very friendly and helpful. They make you a cup of coffee when you come in after dinner, which you have in the little breakfast area. The hotel is on the main road but we weren't bothered by noise. It was useful to have the bus stop nearby. The public beach opposite is fine, no need to pay for the private ones. Menton is a very interesting, vibrant place - we'd recommend a visit.

We have just spent two fabulous nights at the Hotel Palm Garavan. The Hotel is opposite the sea and in a very picturesque location. The rooms were modern and clean and the owners were so helpful. It is ideally placed for restaurants and bars and is about a 15/20 minute to the train station which we used to take the 35 mins journey to Nice for the day. Parking is available for a small fee but it is worth it to know the car is safe underground. Breakfast is an optional extra but as we didn’t have breakfast I can’t comment but I don’t doubt it would have been delicious. I thoroughly recommend the Hotel to anyone visiting Menton and also it is only about a 10 mins drive from the Hotel to Italy so we took advantage of being so close and took a little trip over for a couple of hours. We hope to return again one day for sure.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel, where the owners were very helpful in suggesting where we could park close by at no expense (right up the road...so close) and their favorite restaurant, 3 minutes walk away, that was great. And Old Town is a quick 5 minute walk away and so nice to roam around. The room was certainly nice with all that we needed and a nice view of the water. There was not as much road noise from traffic as I expected so that was a nice surprise. I would recommend staying here!

Stayed for 2 nights for a visit to Mirazur. Rooms are simple but spacious, clean and a very comfortable bed. Our room was on the side of the hotel and quiet with a lovely view of the sea. Location is opposite the beach and perfect for a stroll along the promenade and the old town. Numerous restaurants and bars nearby. 10 minute walk to the train station. Breakfast is typically French but perfectly adequate (and very cheap). The owners are lovely and very friendly and helpful. The bathroom floor can get wet from the shower but not a big issue. Overall a lovely place for our stay.

The hotel is a family business . The position is super , just across the beach . It provides parking which is mandatory.. room was adequate but the view comes only by a small side window . As it’s on the Main Street noise starts quite early . If you sleep deeply then there is no problem . Otherwise you might wake up , like me . Besides that price is fair for the location and the period

We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Private parking had been arranged for us in underground parking. Rooms were very well equipped .Breakfast simple but able to sit in the small area outside at the front of the hotel so good for people watching! Short walk to town centre, and local supermarket, marina restuarants etc. A good find!

We stayed in a superior room with balcony (room 402 - see photo for view from the balcony) for 3 nights in September. What a great choice off hotel! Clean, friendly staff, beautiful view, value for money breakfast, directly across from the beach and within walking distance of the old town and heaps of restaurants. Our hosts arranged a fabulous day tour for us. They provided beach towels free of charge. Excellent customer service! The room was quiet and nice and dark at night with the shutters. We would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend!
