We booked a sea view room for a 4 night break and were allocated room 226 on the 2nd floor. First impression was excellent - the room was large and on the corner of the building with windows on 2 full sides. The views were fantastic and the "stand up" only balcony continued around the corner. This was a room...

There's 2 or 3 Mercure hotels in Nice, the Promenade des Anglais is in a great spot facing the beach - it's above a McDonalds and a casino. It shares the building with the Meridien hotel (the Meridien has a pool, the Mercure does not). There's plenty of bars and restaurants nearby as the hotel is in the centre of...

If you are looking for glamour, this is not your hotel, but for real value for money, good accommodation, very friendly staff and an excellent position, this is it. We had a side view of the sea and park in a large room with full height windows and balcony. Furnishings are on the minimalistic side but spotlessly clean and kept...

I stayed there for a weekend and loved the location - so convenient to all the great places I saw, just across the street from the famous Pebble Beach, and my room has a side view of the ocean. There is a bus, no. 98 I believe that takes you to the airport directly, though I actually walked from and...

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It is in a great location, the beds were very comfortable and the bed linen was changed daily. The staff were quietly efficient and friendly. The rooms were clean. The rooms were warm but the heating can be adjusted. The breakfast was a delicious buffet. I would definitely go again.

We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2013. We had booked basic room but were upgraded to sea view without any extra charge. Location of hotel is excellent on the famous Promenade des Anglais. The old town of Nice is only 5 minutes walk from hotel. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Hotel room was very comfortable but a little...

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The room was clean with modern decor and a good decent size. We were very happy with the room. The best aspect of the hotel is its location. You walk out of the hotel and you are on Promenade des Anglais seafront. Many bars and restaurants around the area...

Room was clean, but very small. No wardrobe, no drawers, just a hanger for cloths. If you stay more than 1-2 days that's not enough. Reasonably polite staff, good breakfast buffet, but overall too expensive for the quality.

We stayed at Mercure because of the proximity to Promenade des Anglais but on arriving at Nice, realized that there are quite a few hotels along that road. Anyway, this is a medium size hotel with basic services which was fine for us because we were not planning on gym or eating at hotel etc. The location is quite nice....

My Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights over the Easter weekend (29th March-1st April) for our first wedding anniversary weekend and had a lovely time. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Nice, very centrally located and opposite the beach. We flew in from Luton and caught the local bus from the airport to the hotel...
