My husband and I have just returned from a three night stay and enjoyed the balcony with sea view very much. The staff were polite and breakfast was perfectly adequate. However just one or two niggles... the 'fully equipped bathroom' had no bath and was no bigger than a student hall's ensuite. Looking at the website I can see that...

Hotel is very centrally located for main tourist parts of the city, very close to many shops, restaurants and the beach and within walking distance of all transport links. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful especially Aurelie on Reception. Had a superior room at the rear corner, bit smaller than expected but very adequate for a lone traveller. You can...

We didn't realise that the room we booked had the bed on a mezzanine deck, at the top of a metal staircase. The bedroom section got very warm, and there was not very much room around the bed. The storage was also very limited, only half length hanging space and small cubby holes. We resorted to hanging clothes off the...

Location is very good, just around the corner from the Marché aux Fleurs which has lots of restaurants etc. Hotel itself is ok. I've stayed here 3 times and the rooms I've stayed in have varied in size but have been functional and clean. As another reviewer wrote, it looks a bit tired, but I didn't find that a problem....

My experience with the Mercure chain of hotels in Europe is that the quality of the properties can be quite hit-and-miss. Fortunately the Mercure Nice Marche aux Fleurs was a hit, providing excellent value and a comfortable stay in a good location. Located directly across the Quai des Etats-Unis from Opera Plage (Opera Beach), this cozy hotel offers boutique ambience...

Perfect location for this hotel, right on the Promenade des Anglais. We stayed 3 nights between Xmas and New Year's Eve, at a price second to none (we booked a month in advance on the accor website). Room was super quiet, with a view that was less than optimal (overlooking backyards of typical old Nice apartments), but we did not...

The hotel is a little aged, we had two rooms for my daughter n her boyfriend, my wife and I. The front desk not too helpful. But I would say its an acceptable place to stay. I been to Nice many times. Probably the last time. The place is over run with tourists. The streets are not drivable. Its scary,...
