I really liked this hotel. We were here for 5 nights. Location is a real plus. Sort of mid way between TGV/train and beach. While in Nice it was therefore convenient to take the train to Monte Carlo or Cannes. Or to go to the...More
I kinda had a feeling about this one but Nice hotels seemed quite expensive and old and dated so I guess the hotels are going to have about the same experience. I am usually willing to forgo some comfort for a good location but this...More

Stayed for seven days in July 2017, friendly, clean and central location. Simple but nice breakfast. The room was bright and spacious (we booked a executive double) with complimentary water, tea and coffee when we arrived. Great stay, would recommend!

Suggest you take the double-bed room on the sixth floor. More expensive but better balcony views. We had a view of a church steeple lit up at night and the background view of houses on the hillside. Remember only one teabag per person provided on day of arrival. Suggest also the breakfast option in the basement. One negative: elevator is small and can fit one person with a lot of luggage when checking in and checking out. It is also quirky and can skip floors even when the button is pushed. Also there may be subway street construction activity still in progress in front of the hotel until 2018. You also need a good Google GPS map of street if walking from train station to the hotel as the streets weave. About a 10-minute walk if you don't get lost and dragging the wheeled luggage. Have fun.
I don't have a photo, but there is a twin bed on the wall just right of the door, another twin bed on the wall across from the door, then a queen size bed over close to the window. 1 large room, 3 separate beds. It worked... More
