It's like stepping back in time - in a good way. The hotel has a deco-style lobby, a faded but lovely lounge bar, and oddly-themed rooms. We upgraded (at a cost) from a tiny room to a Unicorn-themed room on the 4th floor, which was clean, had a spa-tub and a wonderful bed.. T0 put it bluntly, the staff need... More

Dear Guest, I can see that you appreciate our efforts to make this hotel unique. I'm very concerned about bringing a very good service. As you can see through previous comments, this is mostly the case. I admit that sometimes, when several employees are missing due to sickness or broken arms, we cannot take enough time for each guest. It... More

My partner and I stayed here for 4 days in July and found the hotel was very pleasant, however on the first day the staff were dismissive with queries and requests which continued throughout our stay. They did not provide us with any details that NICE has to offer tourists and could not recommend or even direct us to lovely... More

Dear guest, Thank you for taking time to write a review. I think that there has been a misunderstanding between you and my front desk when you asked to go to Monaco. Everyday, we indicate the train station on the map, close to the hotel to go to Monaco. There, you can easily catch a train which take you in... More

We stayed at the Hotel Windsor during our Honeymoon in April. The staff welcomed us to the property and helped us up to our second floor room overlooking the garden. The room was airy with high ceilings and nice furnishings. The property is a short walk from almost everything. 5-10 minutes and you've reached your destination. Didn't get a chance... More

We were shown a 'seduction' room (no. 7) and a 'privilege' room on the 3rd floor, and choose the latter room. It looked newly decorated, a spacious, light, serene room, with funky (and practical) floor-board print carpet! The designer bathroom looks new, lovely stone tiles and spa bath (the toilet is separate). I loved the modern four poster bed, which... More

Located 5 minutes from the beach, this is a gem of a hotel. Good value for Nice and an ideal base from which you can expore Nice itself, a 10 minute walk to the Old Town. Very cool rooms, all themed by a different artist, with a very tranquil garden area with tables, sun loungers and an unheated pool (although... More

This hotel was a good base for exploring Nice and the surrounding area. Good restaurants within 10 minutes walk. The garden area is very relaxing. Free wifi was great. Breakfast was €12 but wasn't well organised (lack of cutlery, bowls etc..). There is a pastry shop and small super market just down the road from the hotel. Bicycle hire from... More

Truly an oasis as it has a lush, (if not overpopulated), garden with very tall trees yet is in easy walking distance of the railway station, the sea front, the airport bus stop and the Old Town, (where you can enjoy many street food venues and the wonderful market). Inside the hotel is, "different" with rooms featuring artists, interesting signage,... More

Hotel Windsor is a real gem of a hotel amid the vast selection of hotels in Nice it really stands out. Great location and excellent service but it is the garden that sets it apart. Breakfast in Le Jardin was such a great way to start the day and it was such a wonderful quiet oasis for a relaxing drink... More

We had 2 big cases plus extras and the bright room was actually oversized with a balcony. New bathroom fitout was spa plus hand piece rather than normal shower but it works. Really helpful staff, great central location (3 mins from the sea) in the middle of eater and shopper paradise and not too far from the station. Dinner staff... More

I've stayed at some of the finest hotels in Europe... The Savoy, the Paris Plaza Athenée, the original Ritz in Boston. For value, for the warmth, friendliness, and support of management and staff, none surpasses the Windsor. Everything about the place is to my liking. And the venerable family-owned heritage of the place is evident in every aspect of the... More
