Staff are extremely friendly and the place has a lovely atmosphere. I would recommend for a short stay. Traffic is load when having the balcony doors open, but blocks it out well when closed. Bed is made and items are checked and topped up daily. The location is great, being a couple minutes from the train station, a few more...

I stayed here in October for my birthday with my 2 year old. The hotel and staff, were amazing! The hotel was beautiful, great location and everything you could expect for a boutique hotel. Rooms were always cleaned to a high standard. Staff spoke English and very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. Highly recommend!

Quirky little hotel with very friendly staff. Nice touches with nibbles and coffee in reception. Rooms very clean. We changed room from a twin to a very small double room as on a romantic break. In hindsight we should have kept the first room and pushed beds together but as a whole this was a pleasant stay. Salim on reception...

IF you are looking for a 4 start establishment, this is Not it. The pictures looked amazing, i was hoping for the best even thought the worst review was quite bad. At best i would give 3 stars. The infrastructure of this hotel is horrendous, there is no soundproofing, walls are paper thin as reviewed by other guests before me....

Arrived here sat 23rd April (stayed 3 nights )after good reviews on trip advisor was majorly disappointed! Grubby area near train station, small stuffy room, shower clogs water, not enough towels, no milk for tea, funny smell in reception, tiny elevator! No bar in hotel, only does breakfast! Not near any other restaurants! Felt like a hostel

Dear Guest, We are surprised about your comment : actually la Villa Bougainville is a 4* boutique hotel, opened one year ago, very cosy and colourful. Let me invite you to read once again the meaning of "Boutique Hotel". Your comment is very rude and your opinion is not objective at all. Do not hesitate to look precisely on the...

This was my third stay at this hotel; its brilliantly located, right opposite the train station. As long as you have a room at the back of the hotel, you don’t hear the trains or traffic…. The rooms have always been very clean, but the hotel is still very new. The rooms are small, but this is typical for Nice....

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience on Tripadvisor : we are glad to read that you are a regular customer. However, we do apologize concerning your recent stay with us. Actually, there is a block in each room to put the heat on or to use the fan during the winter season (Same for the air conditioning during...

Our room was less than half the size of the trip advisor profile, and the walls were so thin we could hear every word spoken by the couple next door. The music from the bar downstairs kept us awake until 2am on the first night. We phoned reception but they said there was nothing they could do except cover our...

A very quirky hotel, 2 minute walk from the train station and 10-15 minute walk to the coast! Welcoming staff, both front of house and serving breakfast! Decent continental breakfast! Good sized room with a stunning shower, and beautifully decorated! Fresh towels and soap each day. Greedy odyssey is free snacks of fruit chocolates and nuts and coffee during 2-7...

Great little hotel, clean and friendly. All staff spoke good english and were happy to help.. NO BAR . Dodgy location. A few prostitutes and druggies close by in the evening.Felt a little at risk walking back from the tram stop at night. The next time I travel to Nice I'll choose a better location.
