We stayed for 2 nights. Rooms were outdated rooms that had ants everywhere. MY partner ended up with some sort of weird bites the next day - not bed bugs but some sort of bite. Could use an upgrade but loved the massive bathroom. If you get this for less than $50 a night it is worth it otherwise I...

Hotel Busby is an old school hotel in the heart of Nice with about a 4 block walk to the beach. The rooms were nothing special to note. Each room had a different set up. Our room had two twin beds and a bunk bed, while our friends' room had 3 separate twin beds and a nice little balcony. The...

Located in city center, walking distance to the waterfront. Hotel is dated, not enought power points in the room. Heater doesn't work and housekeeping changes our bedsheets and towels but never clear the bin and there is only 1 so it overflows. About 5-7 mins walk to a supermarket but realized there is a smaller one nearer which the hotel...

Stayed 2 nights as part of an EF tour with my school. Nice location, horrendous hotel. Bathroom stank terribly, toilet stopped flushing after about 3 uses, room smelled of mould, found bugs and bug eggs on the walls. Left two days later covered in spider bites. Windows, sills, walls, everything seemed covered in a layer of dust. My sheets were...

Stayed here as part of our European Cavalcade Tour for 2 nights. Great location and within walking distance to beach. Rooms were old. Bed spread, curtains, and window shutters were dirty. Mosquitoes in abundance. Rooms smelled of Grandma's house, desperately needed airing. Free WiFi normally available but on arrival, they were experiencing 'technical issues with router waiting to be fixed'....

Stayed for four nights recently as part of a tour group. The location of the hotel is great, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms are very outdated and have a smell of mould. The rooms were clean, just dull. Breakfast is very basic, coffee, croissant, cold meats and cereal. The reception staff were at times difficult. The...

This hotel's best feature is its location. Within a few blocks, there were tons of restaurants and shops. I was able to walk to the beach and to the nightlife too! The hotel was clean but was very old fashioned. The key they give you for the room is huge and heavy, and you have to give it to them...

We stayed for 2 nights as part of a Trafalgar European Cavalcade tour in August 2013. I really liked this hotel because it had character... a grand old lady with charm. The hotel is old with marble staircases, statues holding lamps & and had leadlight windows in the stairwell. The walls in the rooms had padded wallpaper, rich coloured carpet...

We recently stayed at the Hotel Busby in Nice, France, and were pleasantly surprised. The property is basically an old, couple-owned hotel only 4 blocks from the Promenade des Anglais and the beach. It is very near the old town (Vieille Ville) as well. The rooms are rather large and although the decor is somewhat dated, the bathrooms are modern,...

We stayed here as a group for two nights. It's a family run hotel and it was difficult to rate. On the positive; side the location was great, only 5 minutes walk to the laundromat, less than 10 minutes to all the local restaurants and same to get to the beach. Being family run the service was very good and...
