Upon arrival there were 2 coaches outside with tourists from Italy. There wasn't room for us to sit inside so asked to sit outside on the terrace,It appeared that the waiter found this was just too much to ask of him. After much persuasion by my boyfriend, who himself is in the restaurant trade he did make a table for us. The food... More

Visited in mid September for 5 nights and overall had a good stay. We opted not to add the 9 euro breakfast onto the bill and took advantage of eating out in local restaurants, picnics on the beach and supermarket croissants on the go! Some observations on the hotel and this area of Nice: Football - Channel 23 has English... More

Although the room was small, compared to other hotels we have stayed at, it is centrally located, not far from the train station and a tram stop. It is about 10 - 15 walk to the beach from the hotel, and they can arrange pick ups from and to the airport. All the staff at the hotel are friendly and... More

We booked here hoping for the best and we were more than pleased. We arrived shortly after noon and the hotel clerk, who greeted us warmly, phoned housekeeping to get our room ready. We sat out in the lovely courtyard and found it very relaxing. Our room was clean, as well as the bathroom and we found it suited our... More

I was here mostly for the Jazz Festival so this was a quick walk to and from the site which was important at night when some of the concerts ended well after midnight. My room was small without any real amenities. Just a place to sleep. The bed was a bit hard for my liking and the pillows too lumpy.... More

The lounge area was neat and nice. The rooms were shabby and there were problems for example with shower. When you announced the problem they changed a even worse working shower instead. The beds were hard. Their restaurant recommendation was the worst ever. The breakfast they served was far away from the worth of price. Except the coffee which was... More

Acceptable for a short stay. Well located close to railways station and center of town, just a couple of blocks fron the main avenue Jean Medecin with up an down trolley service leading to old town and flower market. Reasonable prices off season, fair continental breakfast.

Liked the place: nice and helpful staff, conveniently situated within walking distance of the old city and the beach. My room was a bit small, but clean and quiet. There was wi-fi in the rooms and it worked well.

You're not paying for the Ritz - and you ain't getting it. That having been said, it is a perfectly serviceable hotel. It was clean, the amenities worked (though the constant need to re-log into the WiFi is very annoying). Yes, the rooms on the lower floors do have the scent of Thai food from the restaurant below. It didn't... More

We reserved a room at the Hotel Saint-Georges because it was close to the train station and reasonably close to old town. Previous reviews gave us a reason to reconsider, but we could not match the price and location. It turns out our fears were unfounded. Our room was very nice and very quiet. The double doors on the deck... More
