Yes, it's the situation, and the art, and the charm they have created in their space. But beyond that, it is the atmosphere of a exquisitely run house. A happy house; where you can relax and have some pretty great food, at a totally reasonable price. I cannot imagine why you would eat anywhere else if you were anywhere near...

..... The choice being Jerulalem, Havana or Côte d'Azur for a romantic Xmas. A difficult choice but the Cote D'azur off season won out for a calming more tranquil time to embrace the wonderful seasonal offerings of that the south has. I my first introduction to the Colombo d'or was some 30 years ago while in persist of a girl...

Great location, quirky and idiosyncratic building. Lots of interesting items of decor to inspect, traditional menu presented with panache. You won't go away hungry. Service friendly and professional; house wines delicious and great value.

I went for lunch. Colombe D'Or is the Roux brother's family hotel/restaurant. An ancient house et high up in picturesque St Paul de Vence it's a real experience. I sat outside on the shady terrace surrounded by iconic works of art sipping champagne. Several people were turned away, so make sure to book and this was a Wednesday out of...

Spent four days at Colombe d'or for a relaxing break having stayed there the previous year with a group. It is magnificent. The situation is divine and lunch in the courtyard and dinner in the dining room may seem to be likely to be boring-theya re not. Great friendly staff who are happy to speak English-once you have exhausted your...

What a wonderful experience From the moment you arrive you know that you are somewhere special. The history of the building, the famous guests that have wined and dined away the hours shouts to you. The art on the wall is enthralling and that is all before you have even sat down in the amazing restaurant to sit down and...

6 days in of our trip and this was the best meal so far. We shared the seafood and spaghetti dish. It was amazing. The restaurant was a little hard to find but they had a sign from the Main Street. Go!

A very well known and famous restaurant fulfills in a positive sense what we expected. Good quality, good service, uncomfortable chairs. The setting is really charming and typical french. The kitchen high standard.

We stayed here for three nights in this wonderfully characterful hotel in the lovely village of St Paul de Vence. The hotel is famous as a haven for artists from Picasso and Braque to Matisse and Miro and you can see why they'd want to donate paintings for the wonderfully characterful and comfortable rooms, the tasty food presented on colourful...
