We fell in love with this small boutique hotel from the off The hotel offers 17 rooms each with a stunning view of the old port And retains many of the buildings original features like the wrought iron staircase that goes right through the middle of the building . Staff are so helpful and friendly ,nothing was too much trouble . Rooms are large bright and airy and tastefully furnished Toiletries provided in the bathrooms Breakfast is excellent and includes fresh fruit cocktail We originally booked for one night and ended up staying for 12 nights due to covid restructions and exiting france Really felt at home here and was sorry to leave Highly recommend and when I do my return trip from where I'm currently staying in north Africa will be booking in again Thanks team belle vue you were all great and look forward to staying again soon

I stayed here in June, before rates went to their peak, and I'm glad I did. The location right on the port was perfect which made this a great value. The staff was very friendly. My single room was larger than I expected and had a partial view of the port, which stays busy after dark with all the restaurants and fine views for a stroll. The room looks to have been recently remodeled and had great shampoo/soaps in the bathroom, plus a small gift set that you can purchase to take home. The mini bar was nice but the door was clear and the light remained on which meant it became a night light in the room. Beware that there's no elevator from the ground floor to the first floor reception/restaurant, but there is an elevator from there to the rooms above.

When I booked, I was allocated a room in which there was a very extreme and unbearable smell of rot from the bathroom. Due to the volume of the bar and the harbor in front of the house, the window could not be left open. I pointed this out directly to the front desk, but didn't receive any help or even a message for several hours. It wasn't until I reported back to reception several hours later that I found out that the employee had finished his shift without notifying me or housekeeping. The new employee could no longer reach anyone due to the late hour. He moved us to the next room, but it had the same smell, but at least a bathroom door that could be locked. The next morning we canceled the stay and the receptionist promised us to refund the money for the remaining two nights (almost 400€!). This was almost three months ago and I have not heard from the hotel since. Except for one request, how I rate the stay. Here you have my answer.
Apart from the problems described, the hotel is clearly overpriced for what it offers. The views from the rooms are fantastic, but that's about the only positive thing. Rooms are very small, noticeably worn even in the higher categories. The breakfast has only a very limited choice, at least we weren't shown any alternatives apart from bread, croissants, jam and coffee.

Gorgeous location and great side view of the port from our window. Good facilities, eco friendly and helpful staff. Loved the bar on the first floor. You have to be able to carry your case up to reception on floor one then there is a lift. Even the ferry across the harbour is nearby and takes 2 minutes for 50 cents.

We stayed in room 25 which has a side view of the port which was lovely. The shower was one of the best I have ever used! The air conditioning worked well but when I asked Zidane in reception if we could have it cooler he did and it was perfect. The breakfast was given to us on a tray - croissant, bread, jam, fruit salad and fromage blanc, coffee and juice, with great views over the port. The bar in the evening was fantastic too and we had a very simple but delicious supper with panisses- yum!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was chic and roomy, and with a double-windowed view over the Vieux Port that we could scarcely tear ourselves away from. Fantastic bathroom, loads of hanging space, and a very comfortable bed. The Caravelle bar is a hugely in-demand and smart place to drink. The colleagues throughout were uniformly lovely. On arrival it’s not much, but once at the first floor the Belle-vue begins to amaze you with a cosy bar used also for breakfast. Rooms are small but very well appointed. It shows it has undergone a recent renovation. I liked the soaps and moisturiser especially. Bed is a French double so bear it in mind if you are used to wider doubles

Very nearly excellent! Nice room and amazing view with friendly staff, location great too. But- small niggles which were irritating. Kettle and cups in room but no coffee or milk, centrally controlled a/c which doesnt operate til July- it was 30 degrees! Also, bar turns off coffee machine at night and its not possible to order for your room.

We asked for early luggage deposit and romantic decor, and Hotel Belle-Vue accommodated both requests free of charge. The decor was especially exceptional! Besides that, the port view is great, and while the room is a bit small, it is clean and in good condition. We would stay here again.
