The hotel suites it's purpose for a comfortable stay in the best location of Marseille. Simple room, clean, comfortable, spacious. Suites it's class+ and good value for money. My story that makes me praise the place is that on arrival the desk agent didn't find my res. To make a long story short ... I booked March instead Feb, My mistake. Not only that they accepted us with no added payment (my res was non refundable) we received an upgraded studio. They could send us away with no room and no refund and they'd be right to do so but they didn't. For such attitude I give them 5. Location 2nd line to old port of Marseille, excellent. Recomended.

While the location is great for being a short walk away from the port and sightseeing, the neighbourhood that the hotel is located in is a bit dodgy. It is loud at night and I didn't feel comfortable going out after dark. Parking was extremely hard to find and expensive. The hotel itself feels like a dormitory. Our room was quite large, but there were bugs in the kitchen and mold in the shower. For one night it was bearable but I would not stay here again.

We booked the place short-term. Booking went smooth. Check-in was ok. The location of the hotel is excellent, spot-on in the centre of Marseille, still the hotel is quiet. Rooms were relatively basic but clean, decent service. Great service for money.

My husband and I stayed for one night at this hotel. You can't check in until 3pm, no matter what - even if your flight arrives at 9am in the morning, so be aware that they will need to hold your bags if you wish to drop them off. Staff was very friendly, but right at 3pm, everyone arrives to check in and the wait can take a little time. Our room was pretty small, but had a little kitchen area and a decent sized bathroom. The bed was fairly comfortable and the view was basically of a run-down apartment building in the back of the property (depressing). We fortunately had a good nights rest with very little noise. There's a Nespresso machine in the room and you can buy pods at the front desk. The location is walkable to many tourist shops and restaurants right in Old Port. The room appeared to be clean, but a bit run down. I would suggest a one night's stay if needed, but to stay longer might cramp your style if you wish for something a bit more roomy and charming. Overall, good stay and a good place for walking around Old Port and surrounding neighborhoods.

It was good and comfortable. location is so good and other things of this hotel were reasonable regards to its cost. I suggest that the time of 11 am to 3 pm that its reception desk is out of service someone should be there to open the door for every guest who is going to do check-in and just arrive.

My friend and I booked a studio apartment each. You get a shower room, with fantastic water pressure, a bedroom and a kitchen area that includes a microwave, cooking hob and fridge, the fridge is really useful!! I didn’t use the coffee machine provided. Making tea involves using the microwave to boil the water so taking a travel kettle might be a good idea. The built in wardrobe provided loads of storage space. The location, one row back from the ‘front’ means it is quiet so a good nights sleep is easy. I would choose to stay there again in future, excellent value and great location, the staff are friendly and helpful too.

Dear Mary, We're delighted to read you had a great stay in our apartment hotel and that you enjoyed our location just a couple steps away from the Old Port and that you liked your apartment and its equipment. We've taken good note that you would have liked to have a kettle in the apartment. We hope we will welcome you again soon! Kind regards, Emma, Service Qualité

I stayed with a friend in a double room for 3 nights and have absolutely no complaints. It couldn’t be located in a better area, it felt very safe (speaking as 2 teenage girls) and was one of the most affordable options. The bed was also very comfy and the kitchenette very useful. The receptionists were also lovely despite my broken french :) Merci beaucoup !

I was very pleased with my staying at Resihotel. I arrived from a retreat center located in a remote mountain village in France which I spent 3 month. Arriving in a big city with so much noise was a bit overwhelmed for me, when I got inside my room I wanted to leave right the way, my room didn’t have much natural light coming in, so I requested if I could change rooms and the guy from the reception who is from Madagascar (I forgot his name)was extremely helpful and offered a better room right the way. I was very happy and this made my stay a 5 star! The location is perfect if you are using public transportation, the bed is so comfortable. The mini kitchen is very basic, the building is old, but overall is a good value for the city.

place was big for a couple, with plenty of light coming in which is great, however the bath was dirty of some spots which seemed to be there for a while since we could not get rid of them ourselves (it's not our job to do so in the first instance anyway as usually when booking a place it's supposed to come clean). There were very small towels as well. It was difficult to open the door ( that open/close by twitching the mechanism is quite old and maybe it's time to change that) despite the receptionist (which is an awesome guy with lots of carisma) tried his very best to explain us how it worked. Last but not least the whole place had a weird smell which remained throughout our stay and it felt some kind of chemical used as a clinical product, but kinda of a nasty one mixed with other stuffs. Not sure what that was really, but I know that's not how you want to place to be during your time there. I think the place itself is a bit overrated for the money you pay, but overall it was a positive experience, because the place is next to the lively old port area (this review is written during COVID-19 time with curfew at 9pm so I don't know if he gets dangerous at night) where there were plenty of restaurants and bars with great food, drinks, and service. Think if you want a quiet place though, because for the same reason it can get loud at night time (6pm onwards) as the windows are facing the street where the venues are. 3 stars out of 5 because the room conditions, I wouldn't hesitate to give it 4 stars otherwise.

Room 41. The view of Notre Dame de la Garde and part of the marina was stunning. The apartment is very spacious with kitchen, dining area, bathroom, hallway and bed. The staff were so helpful. Close to all transport and amenities. All excellent. No problems at all.
