Standard hotel, well placed if you are visiting the city and surrounding areas. Bit disappointed room was not set up for visitors on a late arrival (beds). Small for more than 2 in a room/apartment. Balconies are a nice bonus, if you managed to get one. Breakfast was extra charge, but you can go and enjoy breakfast down by the port.
Very nice large rooms. The kitchenette is very useful. Seperat toilet. Everything was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in close walking distance to the harbour, the shopping center Les Terrasses and Le Panier with many food options. To the central trainstation it is an easy 15min walk.
Air conditioning could not be adjusted and even with the fans in the rooms we could not get the apartment cool enough. Carpeting in the main area was badly stained and needed a good clean or replaced. We had booked breakfast but on our first visit to the breakfast area all the cereal bowls available were chipped and had been handled by other guests looking for undamaged ones. Location is superb, very central. This is the best thing going for it.
I booked a room nearly a year in advance, because we were travelling to the rugby final in Marseille. A few days before we travelled they cancelled my room claiming my credit card was declined, when it wasn't. I checked with my bank and I loaded a second card and I approved the transaction with my phone. I spoke to the hotel and the first person told me I had paid too little for the room. Then the manager said my card was declined and attempted to sell the room back to me for an extra €300. I spent many hours complaining to the website that took the booking and they reimbursed the difference between the original cost and the subsequent room. I sent a complaint email to the general manager but I got no response. This hotel made of an excuse to cancel my room to sell it at a higher price. I suggest you avoid this place.…
As a hotel it did the job. Decent location and clean/comfortable accommodation. Rooms are small if you do want an apartment, but fine for B&B. But when the management found an opportunity to raise the price, they did it. So I can't recommend the place from an integrity perspective.
Decent enough, if a little rundown. The location, however, can’t be beat. The bed was comfy, pillows looked like they needed to be replaced a few years ago. Shower was good. WiFi was fast. In general though, everything felt a bit shabby. Not what I’ve experienced with Adagio in the past.
During a 3 day hotel stay there was no hot water in the shower. When we contacted the hotel manager we got an answer that there was a maintenance problem. This is an unwritten contract between the hotel management and the guests that the supply of hot water in the shower is an elementary thing and if one party did not comply with the agreement he has to pay.
Very dirty, not following any hygenic protocols, poor service from reception staff, one was so rude she begged me to say 'please' before she give me a toilet paper roll... very dirty room and after 2 attempts it was as dirty. Dont stay there they dont deserve your money!
Now I will share the list : - personel are not kind - bad smell in floor 3rd floor - lamp was broken and electric cable are visible - dirty bath and it's doesn't evacuate water - dirty room dust on table - we claimed for baby bed it was never provided - we make complain about room they said to us we can do nothing - I sent complain by mail but it was never answered - staff must learn the meaning of the word smile
Room is not bad with basic necessities in room. However had a bad experience with the old kitchen wares. I was cooking when the handle of lid came off, and the screw dropped into my food. I had to throw my food away! I went to the reception and they give me another old looking pot.
