Hotel's Favourite
I recently stayed at this modern hotel right on the seafront. It was literally a breath of fresh air. All the staff were kind and friendly, particularly Anthony at front of house who was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Also Vincent in the restaurant. Some years ago I was an hotel inspector and was often disappointed with the various places I visited. This is not the case with this hotel and I give it a 5* rating.

The Hotel looks very nice and is placed in this very unique place mixed with urban Plage des Catalans and the picturesque sea view and Corniche. The interior is like budget scandinavian design, finishing and materials used are not the greatest and quite aligned with the service and staff. It seemed like students or part-time job staff not very concerned with their professional activites. Breakfast was consolation with good local breads and quality jams and butter.

Dear Mireilehmann, We would like to thank you for sharing with us your feedback, following you stay. We are glad that you enjoyed the fantastic view and location of our hotel. It has been renovated between 2016 and 2018 ny Yvan Pluskwa, using indeed scandinavian brand such as Skagerak and materials such as terrazzo. We have a young and dynamic team and some are indeed in training, a minority though. We are sorry that you experienced some difficulties. Nevertheless, please note that we are focus to always improve the quality of our services. We would be very happy to welcome you again and all the team is at your disposal for all your requests. Regards,

Rooms are small but OK, view is very nice though. We had our breakfast on our small balcony and it was agreeable. We also tried the rooftop bar for the sunset and their restaurant downstairs. Food is very good but service on the rooftop was awful. The lady was so slow and not paying attention to customers. The pool does the job on a hot day but it's really small. We stayed there after our wedding and were disappointed not to find even a small note or anyone from the reception to congratulate us when we checked in. The parking is 10 min walk from the hotel as they don't have one on site. The neighbourhood is a bit dirty to be frank. In the end, the stay was OK but they don't deserve a 4 star.

Dear Laurene, Thank you very much for leaving us a comment. We are sincerely sorry that you experienced some difficulties on the rooftop as well as during your stay. The hotel was built on the rock of the promenade, in the 1930's, with a outstanding location and view, explaining also the size of rooms and pools. During renovation, all rooms have oriented toward the sea. Please note that we take all comments in order to always improve the quality of our services and we thank you for sharing it with us. We wish you a lovely day and all the team remains at your disposal and will be happy to have you rediscover our hotel. Regards,

You’ll pay a very expensive view !! I travel very often and this hotel has the worst service I have never seen !! They issue is the space. The rooms are so small, the restaurant is super small, there’s only 5 lounge chairs at the pool for all the clients and there’s no common area to relax. There’s no phone at the pool to call the reception if you want a drink and the staff never comes to clean used towels or to check if everything is well. The staff is arrogant and they won’t help. Their priority is to make as much as money as they can with external clients for the rooftop and restaurant than taking care of the hotel clients. I strongly recommend to avoid this hotel if you want to relax. It’s super expensive for the service provided. Please see pictures of the uncleaned and messy public areas.
