There is no one at the reception desk. Staff hangs out in the room marked PRIVE on the second floor. As I was going up the stairs on the evening of May 27, 2016 I was YELLED at by a creepy scary looking bearded man demanding my room number. I did my best to say the number in French. He...

The room looked like it could use a renovation. Broken floor tiles, worn off bathroom... Wifi was good at times but unreliable (disconnecting often). However, the bed linen was crispy clean. The staff on the reception was always nice and location was very convenient. It is in short walking distance from both the train station and the Vieux Port, so...

So we arrived quite late in Marseille- around 10pm. We looked forward to getting to our hotel, both because we were tired and because there were a lot of suspicious people asking us for drugs near the station. When we arrived, we firstly had to wait for the manager to be shouted out of his bedroom by another guest who...

Just an overall terrible stay. Rooms not what was advertised on website; holes in ceiling, cracks on walls and most of all shower was in the middle of the room and had no curtain with a clear see through glass as well as no toilet in the room! Only reason we had to book this hotel was that the train...

We got this place for a night through booking.com and paid 60€ total for a room for three with private shower. The owner was a really funny guy and bantered with us while we checked in. The whole process was quite fuss free. They also have 24h reception though the staff hangs out 1 floor up in his room after...

This is a very very basic hotel right in the city centre of Marseilles. It is the right hotel if you are looking for a low budget option and if you are not bothered about the comfort at all. The room I stayed in was very basic, a double bed, a bed side table, one chair, TV, sink and (to...
