Great location a few minutes walk from metro (couple of stops to main line station), port about a 4 minute walk with all attractions and city sight seeing bus close by. Hotel is comfortable, clean, good bathroom etc. I paid for breakfast which included freshly cut fruit, yogurt, cereal, cold meat, eggs, cheese, bread etc.

The rooms are modern and well furnished, the hotel has a perfect location near the port for getting around on foot and taking public transport. The breakfast room is made available to guests all day to take water, coffee and tea. The service is excellent, the staff is young and very helpful. Ramona and all her colleagues are very kind. Highly recommended

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It ticks all the boxes, very central to the port, shops, metro and trams. 10 minutes walk from the train station. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Theo obviously loves his job, he is so polite and helpful, Ramona is another name I remember but all staff were lovely.
Rooms very clean, tea/coffee making facility, hot shower, hairdryer. Windows open but there is also air con or heat. You can opt not to have your room serviced during your stay, reception will give you clean towels.
Breakfast was excellent but dining area can get crowded and staff slow to replenish food and plates, cups etc. Plenty of cereal, bread, croissants, cold meat, cheeses, crepes, pancakes. You can boil your own eggs. You have access to dining area all day for free coffee tea, water.
Free WiFi was very good. TV in room only have one English speaking channel but that didn't bother us..
If you have a late flight they will store your baggage for the day and allow you use of the free Tea/coffee/water on level one until its time to leave.
hotel is just a doorway on the street, so it can be easy to miss.
The port is only 5 mins walk from Hotel, where you will find endless restaurants, bars, tourist buses/trains/boats etc
Overall I highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for 7 nights. This was by far our worst experience. The ‘hotel’ is situated in a crowded neighborhood full of homeless people and pick pocketers. No parking, only place you can is a shopping center nearby which charges a huge amount (25€) per entrance. The breakfast is mediocre and offers no protein( no ham or eggs) just pasteries and fruit. We had no hot water for the majority of our stay which is unacceptable. We were told that the cleaning lady was dismissed and therefore our room would not be cleaned or DISINFECTED for our stay. This is not normal , especially in times of coronavirus. The staff does not speak english and so it was very hard for us to communicate. We were given only one towel for 2 people, which was not taken to be cleaned by any personnel. The bathroom shower would always leak water into the room as it was poorly placed. The staff is disinfomed about the city and could not give us simple directions to the closest pharmacy when needed. May i add that the conditions here are unfathomable for the price we paid that does not give us the value for our money. I would strongly recommend you choose a different city and hotel to stay at. We were terribly shocked by the levels of disinterest towards the customer this place had.

Room #416 smelled like a sewer. The hotel reception explained that it was a hit or miss experience, due to a municpal problem, and that the direction had been informed. We were given a choice to move to another room after the first night but it was a hassle to move for just one supplementary night.

Staff was helpful and replaced an old rattan chair that was uncomfortable and rickety. Breakfast spread was very good as was the hospitality. (When I asked how to use the egg cooker, the kind young man in charge gave me a timer and some tips).

Thank you.

I must admit that the review will be complex, for various reasons. Let's start with the positives:
- the location is absolutely perfect for visiting the center of Marseille, just outside the pedestrian area.
- there is a room on the first floor that can be used all day, where you can get hot drinks and water for free. They also occasionally make sweets available.
- the first room we were given was small but clean.
If we had stopped here, the review would have been 5 stars.

Unfortunately, we noticed on the first evening that the room's bathroom had a terrible smell of sewage... unbearable. in the morning we spoke to the receptionist and she told us that she would do something but in the evening, when we returned we noticed that things had improved slightly, but not fixed (according to the colleague she had thrown some type of perfume down the drain.)
However, I bring up the problem again in the evening and ask that our room be changed. And here my dissatisfaction begins: first of all, I apologized more for the inconvenience than they did for the inconvenience. In my opinion, the minimum should be to apologize and give us a room upgrade. Instead we were given the same room and it would be fine if it weren't for the fact that the room was full of dust, the bathroom had limescale marks, the pillowcase was stained, the pillows and the bed were more uncomfortable than the previous room and above all it was ice cold. So much so that the first night I had to sleep with socks on.

I hope the mix-up wasn't intentional and in any case the guys are very kind.

We booked a room in this hotel when they arrived late at night in Paris, and wanted an option near the station (where the airport bus comes). But after one night, we extended it by 2 more because we absolutely loved it!

Spacious and pretty room, clean bathroom, good hot water pressure in the shower, there is a towel dryer (which allows you to wash and dry things overnight). The room even had a balcony and city views. Noise insulation is good, I couldn't hear anything at night. I also note that the lighting in the room was normal, you could both work on your laptop and read before bed. This is rare for urban European hotels...

The staff is excellent, friendly and welcoming (both night and day).

We did not take breakfast because we usually try to open new cafes every day on holiday in Europe. But I would like to emphasize that the hotel has not only a cooler with cold water and boiling water (you do not need to look for a shop and buy water for the evening), but also a coffee machine with free coffee (cappuccino, latte, cocoa), a set of teas, cookies and candy. The cooler even has sparkling water!! We visited the kitchen every day, afternoon, afternoon, for coffee while it was hot outside, and evening, for tea before bed. It's both a saving and it's just really convenient when your hotel has everything!

I can say that this is probably the best urban hotel in France where we've stayed in 15 years of traveling around Europe!

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They were always able to provide useful tips on Marseille and took time to research information for guests. As I was also travelling with my dog, they also ensured that his trip was also comfortable by providing a doggy bowl and treats for him. The hotel is situated very close to the old port (5 minutes by foot) as well as the train station (10minutes by foot).

The location was great on a busy street not far from the Old Port. The area was packed with cheap kebab stalls, but other restaurants were not far away. A shopping mall was located directly on the opposite side of the street. The closest small supermarket was also only a few minutes away by foot.

My room didn't face the main street and there was almost no traffic noise. Overall the room was peaceful and I slept well.

The building had a 1960's vibe with a super-small front desk right at the entrance, narrow corridors and vinyl wallpaper. Everything had been well maintained, so it didn't feel dated.
