I tried to book this place after reading positive recent reviews & being referred here by another BnB that was sold out. I contacted the property and was told the studio was available. I would need to send 95 euros to their acct, no internet in studio. A very formal reply. My friend (we are both contacting people together in... More

We stayed at the BnB Les Amis de Marseille for 3 nights in September, 2012. I was in Marseille for a work visit, but had some time for basic-tourist time as well. The BnB was a great base to explore the city from, the hosts were really lovely. We can only second all the lovely reviews given below, these are... More

Out of all the gay guesthouses and hotels I've stayed in within France, this is by far the best and most memorable one. Before I even set foot in the complex one of the gay owners came to find me at the exact time I arrived in the vicinity which felt like a guardian angel rescuing me otherwise I would... More

This was the 4th time I stayed at BnB Les Amis de Marseille. Here you know you are in good hands, you are always warmly welcomed and everything is arranged according to agreement. The breakfast with coffee, homemade bread and marmalade with a stunning view from the terrace is an excellent start of the day. Jean-Laurent and Philippe are always... More

Very highly recommended. The apartments are well-located and only a short (10 minute) walk to the old port. The room was small but comfortable and very clean and the apartment felt very homely. We felt like family at the BnB Les Amis de Marseille. The apartment is located on a hill in the city with a stunning view of the harbor and the Sailors Church that presides over the sea. “Really good restaruant in the area recommended by the owners was that had the term La Provencal in the name. Very local and seasonal ingredients. Fish soup was great but very robust so meant for people who like strong flavours.”
