Among the best boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed at. From the reservations of our two rooms to the welcome on the street and checkin we felt appreciated. The courtyard and bar in the lobby are beautiful and the staircase, the centerpiece of the hotel, is a stunning work of art. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, quiet and zen. The Nespresso machine with unlimited capsules was and should be the gold standard everywhere. If I’m being picky, I would suggest having coffee-mate creamers so you don’t have to call down for warm milk each morning. The bathrooms are stocked with Hermès products and robes and slippers for a perfect shower before heading down in the elevator directly to the spa in the basement which is air opened on the courtyard. It was a beautiful added bonus with hot, warm and cool (could be colder) tubs after a long day visiting Marseille. The lounge chairs, teas and chais, and flavored waters throughout the hotel were also a nice touch. The terrasse and bar serve appetizers but not mains. The Charcuterie and Cheese plates were generous and delicious and the bread was fresh. The Cote de Provence and Cocktails were made with love. Honestly as close to as perfect a stay as I can remember. Again if I’m being picky, they should have two bars of soap per room. One for the sinks and one for the shower. And maybe lower the price per person (28€) on the breakfast buffet which was delicious and varied but for the cost of 1 person, 4 can cross the street to a great bakery and café and bring back treats for all to the room. We look forward to returning! Thank you C2

We went here for my husband birthday and the hotel helped organise a surprise gift set up with cocktails, they booked restaurants for us and helped us with trips. They even arranged our covid tests
The hotel is a short 5 min walk for the harbour full of shops and restaurants
The hotel is quiet and well located
The bedrooms are very spacious, well equippped and very clean. The spa is superb and a nice place to have a treatment or just relax.
The breakfast is perfect and everything is very fresh
The staff are so helpful and friendly
A true delight

This is a very well-located hotel, close to the shopping and cafes of the Vieux Port, but on a quiet residential street with zero street noise. The design is a bit confusing and not entirely successful - the common areas are grand and baroque and show off the bones of the beautiful old townhouse the hotel is built into, but the rooms themselves are rather small, stark, and minimalist, with some awkward design touches (like a toilet that's fairly distant from the sink). The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the free minibar was a nice touch. Overall, it's a good home base for a few days in Marseille.

This hotel is not 5 stars boutique hotel and not worth of 300 euros per night. it’s located on a narrow and noise street ( I had quiet room) around 15 min from the old port. There was nothing wrong in the hotel but also nothing spectacular. My bed sheet had a whole and pillows were worn out. The spa is small and dark. The breakfast was very good and that compensated a bit.. Next time I would stay in Radisson SAS next to the harbor, same quality with half price with better location.

This 5-star hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood in Marseille. The location is a 5-7 minute walk uphill from the touristy port.

The good:
Hotel is small, very quiet. Requires keycard to access exterior doors and elevator, which is a nice security feature. Service was excellent. Breakfast good with nice variety - this was the only hotel on our 2 week trip that cooked my husband’s “over hard” eggs perfectly every time.

The “not quite up to par”:
The light in the toilet area was on a very short sensor, and flashed on and off every few seconds while using toilet. We had 3 rooms between family members, everyone commented this was consistent and a bit annoying.
Our shower door did not close.
We paid for an upgraded room, including . There was additional seating in the room that was not functional (see photo). Our TV never had consistent signal during our stay- we were there during Olympics, and wished to keep up with events.
We noted other guests being g offered welcome drinks on check in, which we were not offered.

Overall, comfortable stay, good service.

Good Afternoon, We really pay attention to your comment. Due to our green engagement, we decided to use a sensor for toilettes to avoid any over consumption of lights. Some guests paid for a welcome drink upon their arrival. We are really sorry for this inconvenience. It is always important to improve our quality of service and we hope that you will be back among us very soon to change your mind ! Best regards,

This is a very special boutique hotel located perfectly above the Vieux Port a walk away from most tourist sites and great restaurants. The management did an excellent job restoring this elegant old home into an inviting refuge hotel/bar/spa with all the necessary & desired comforts. LOVED our 3 day stay and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Elegant, safe, a real joy!

This hotel is my favorite place to stay in Marseille. The staff is friendly, they are accommodating (especially to someone who doesn't speak French) and I love the addition of the spa as an amenity. It's a nice hidden away escape, but close enough to walk to the Old Port and many delicious places to eat in between. I find the interior to be modern, comfortable and even the smaller rooms to be plenty of space to spread out, relax, and get my work done. The breakfast is so nice, filled with many savory + sweet options. I highly recommend this hotel and will keep coming back for trips for business or pleasure. Thanks to everyone at C2 for being so welcoming and maintaining a nice space. :)

Reception was a breeze and helpful, but this hotel by no means meet my definition of a five star. #1 the hotel has no lotion, #2 I had a stained towel and the other one has seen better days, #3 be careful when I booked the hotel no one message me to inform me that a group would be coming the next day so they wouldn’t rush me out meeting that I would no longer have access to common areas after check out (it difficult when you are waiting for your driver). If they provide you with any access, you don’t feel welcomed. There are tons of other hotels with better service, great locations and four stars in Marseille. I highly recommend NH’s brands and Intercontinental. I also stayed there during my visit to Marseille.

Hello, We would, at first, like to thank you for having chosen C2 and also for your review. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences that you had to come across during your stay in our hotel. Our rooms are now provided with lotion. Guests use the lounge for a common space and either wait there or in the terrace, but I guess the coming of the group hampered this somehow. Even though your experience was not entirely fruitful with us, we sincerely hope that you would give us a try again. Thank you. Best regards,
