While the setting is sublime and the staff could not be more accommodating, the rooms are so-so and seemed overpriced to us. Ours was a third floor walk-up (no lift) so ask for a lower if you object to stairs. The town of St. Remy is well worth a visit......loads of charm with many restaurants and appealing shops.

We stayed here for five nights in late April and it was a wonderful experience. From start to finish, the staff was helpful, friendly and informative. If we needed something in our room, it was promptly brought. We had our laundry done there and the price was not bad at all. One evening, we decided to just have cheese, fruit...

We stayed at the Chateau for three nights. Warm welcoming staff, beautiful room and a magnificent setting. it was off season so the hotel was quiet, the trees still not blossomed, but we felt we were in another time. Even though it is located outside of the center of St Remy, it is still a good location, and one needs...

Arriving to the Chateau was magic for us, the sky was red, the view of the chateau from the entrance with the beautiful trees was marvelous and the view and sound of the sheep passing by wordless. People that work there so nice, rooms perfect, breakfast delicious and abundant, the location perfect...... we loved it!!!!

My wife and I stayed at the impressive Chateau de Roussan in early October, for two nights. Our room, which was one of the less expensive rooms, was large, clean, modern, and homey, with a stunning view of the grounds at the back of the hotel. The grounds, which covered several acres, were incredible, as you can see from the many...

Probably one of the more expensive hotels in St Remy, but if you can afford it, treat yourself. Everything about this hotel is beautiful, inside and outside.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights over our anniversary! First off, Provence in the fall is beautiful to start with, but then you add in this amazing place and it is like something from a storybook! We are not big fans of crowded vacation spots when we are on vacation (Primarily because we live in one in...

Beautiful chateau on the outskirts of town. Lovely postion in its own parkland. Very professional staff. Dissapointed to find that restaurant closed Mondays and Tuesdays so had to go into town to eat. Classical bedroom but would have appreciated bedside tables.

My wife and I booked our stay here months ago and couldn't wait to get here. We were not disappointed. The chateau takes you back in time. We were warmly greeted by the staff at reception and personally shown to our room, named Maguelone. The room itself was quite large, very clean and nicely appointed. We had both a bathtub...

By far the neatest experience we had in france. We stumbled upon this treasure out of sheer luck. The accomodations were lovely, service top notch and the grounds immaculate. Highly recommend.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Only the XIIIth century could offer such a charming mansion, only 2km away from Saint‐Rémy de Provence. As you’ll slowly walk down the elegant alley of centennial plane trees, you’ll discover the “Château de Roussan”, designed by a brilliant French architect. Enchanted by his creation, he offered it a façade decorated with an elegant balcony overlooked by a majestic front wall; in the manner of a theatre stage set. ... more   less
