Le Mas Des Carassins is an excellent small hotel. We stayed there for nine days in September in an annexe suite with balcony which overlooked the gardens and was south facing. It was spacious and very clean. A very adequate buffet breakfast was served that could be taken into the beautiful gardens or eaten inside. We didn't find time to...

We stayed for 4 nights and it is a perfect location for visiting Provence - we had a car. The grounds are exquisite. Our room was very comfortable - main house - and always cleaned well. The food was so good we ate there 3 of 4 nights. We corked, then left a third of a bottle of wine on...

I was expecting a wonderful stay at the Mas based on TA reviews. The grounds yes are quite beautiful with two pools and lovely flowers and trees. But our room was a major disappointment! When I travel, the room plays an important role in how I feel about the trip. Our room was in the main house - a dreary...

We stayed a week at the beautiful Le Mas Des Carassins and can easily say it is the perfect place to stay in Provence. The gardens have huge pots of blooming plants everywhere and the food in the restaurant is exquisite. Michael and Pierre have assembled a staff that are warm and friendly and that work very hard to ensure...

We stayed for 4 nights and liked their 'deal' which was a rate including 2 dinners, so that one could also try local restaurants, Our room (in the main house) was very comfortable, good bathroom. Lovely gardens and tranquil setting. Excellent breakfast (although a bit slow clearing the tables for those arriving later). The two meals we had were both...

I stayed at Le Mas Des Carassins in mid-September. This place has it all..clean, charming, well-appointed rooms with fabulous gardens, punctuated by statuary and fountains. Two swimming pools grace the property and came in handy at the end of several warm days of seeing the sights. I loved the the way this old stone manse has been updated, while retaining its...

This unassuming gem of a hotel opened for business under new ownership only a few years ago. It's a mix of the old (an old farmhouse) and the new (a glorious annex) with two beautiful pools, restaurants, gardens and olive groves. It's wonderfully stylish with great attention to the detail but is also warm, friendly and laid back. The two...

We stayed for 5 nights during the first week of September with several friends. Every thing about the property was outstanding, from the beautifully landscaped grounds, to the two swimming pools and, most importantly, the fabulous dinners, eaten outdoors. We enjoyed the outdoor dining for all 5 nights and the dinners and wine were excellent. Breakfasts were good as well,...

My husband and I just returned from France where we spent a week in the south of France before going to Paris. In the Provence and Riviera area, we stayed at 3 wonderful places, but Mas des Carassins was by far our favorite and I can only say good things about it, like so many of the other reviewers. First...

This exceeded our expectations. We knew what to expect from a Provencal mas - we had stayed before in the Luberon. But this is a more upmarket mas. the bedroom was fine - it represented very good value for money but if we were to be picky then the bed was a bit hard and the airconditioning unit was a...
