The Grand Hotel Dauphine is conveniently situated in the old part of Toulon, a 10 minute walk from the train station and about the same down to the port. Lovely big double bed, modern furnishings, fridge and kettle (both very much appreciated), free Wifi and a good modern bathroom (though shower a bit small in room 305). Bring your slippers...

Great location but the rooms are in need of some TLC. Rooms vary in size but most face a motorbike parking area, which means you are rudely awakened at all hours of the morning. Air con wasn't working in my room, but did in others. However it is a good hotel if staying one night and not planning on spending...

We stayed here then it before leaving on the ferry to Corsica. Perfect choice, direct shot from the parking lot. The hotel itself is older in the downtown area. The rooms are small but everything was clean. Location very close to ferry terminal as well as all the marina restaurants........fresh muscles galore in all kind of sauces. The staff was...

Basic hotel, parking available and centric. Rooms a la old fashion but very French. Air conditioner works very low and is bad in summer. Breakfast offer buffet and not so many options but fine for quick travelers. Parking need to be requested.

This small and cosy hotel is in the centre of Toulon within walking distance of the city's famous harbour restaurants, the shopping centres and the Opera House. The rooms are reasonably sized and furnished in a very practical fashion. Bathrooms are spotless and the breakfast is sumptuous . Toulonn visitors can make visits to nearby Porquerolle Island and the harbour...

Good sized rooms, clean, good location and helpful staff. One very serious issue: the fire escape is clearly sign posted but the route doubles as a store for paint! I always like to walk the fire escape when I arrive at a hotel and was shocked at the amount of material in the stair well. Trying to descend a voice...

We visited the hotel for the European Rugby Championship game against Wasps. The hotel is right off the Avenue Strasbourg and in the old part of town. Nestled in between some nice old buildings and little shops and cafes. It is about a two minute walk to the market and about 6 minutes to the port or the Stade Mayol...

In the heart of the pedestrianised old town which is undergoing a facelift, close to The Opera House and 5 minutes from The Port. It's name is misleading as the reception is between two shops, the first floor breakfast room (the only meal they serve) has brightly coloured plastic, more like a hostel or school. The rooms above are typically...

Stayed here for three nigthts in August when visiting Toulon with my daughter. Hadnt pre-booked rooms but the staff were really good at helping us to find somewhere to rest our heads. The rooms are good, clean and comfortable, and at a decent price for the 3 star hotel level. Very close to all the great parts of the town...
