La Sapiniere is a very cozy old feel hotel even though it looks slightly modernized on the outside. The rooms we had felt traditional with there old style cupboards and wooden floor boards. I felt it was a nice change from the bling style hotels of late we have used,it fitted perfectly with the old traditional resort of Chamonix. Our...

We stayed in Sapiniere for a week in March and had a wonderful time. The staff are a real credit to the place - funny, helpful, friendly. The food was great too - as a vegan, I had to pay a little extra (£35 for the week), but had incredible meals every night. The chef would make anything that I...

Our group of six girls has just returned from enjoying the last week of the season. Three of us have been seasonnaires and also experienced very many chalet holidays over the years, and we all agreed the Sapiniere is the best by far for the money. All the great reviews have been spot on - it is the staff that...

We were a family of seven of various ages including a baby and the staff were fantastic. You could tell they had good fair management and that created the perfect atmoshere. As previously stated the hotel is dated but the bathrooms are modern and the views from the hotel more than make up for the decor. The location is ideal...

As our first time taking our young daughter skiing this Chalet Hotel was just perfection. The staff definitely made the stay. A really helpful, polite and friendly group of people who seemed to enjoy doing what they were doing. We met a few out on the slopes in their own time and still they had the same sunny disposition. I...

Totally agree with Charlotte below. Excellent chalet hotel, staff were outstanding! Greeted at the front door by Gregor who carried my ridiculously heavy bag right to the top floor smiling all the way. Drinks served up by Ferg all week with crazy ski videos on the screen in the bar - great inspiration! Bea was an absolute star - cracking...

Just returned from a fab week in Chamonix. First time visit to the resort and was very pleased with the hotel. The majority of the reviews on here managed my expectations and the staff well and truly lived up to the great reviews they have. Shelly was professional, friendly and very knowledgable about the area, offering better advice than the...

This was our first time staying here but the second time we have stayed in a Chalet Hotel, and it far exceeded our expectations! The hotel was clean and tidy and had lots of character despite being a little dated. Our room (32) was really spacious and had great views of the Savoy nursery slopes and the room was perfectly...

Second time staying at La Sapiniere & again what a fabulous holiday we had. We were a party of 8 who thoroughly enjoyed the food, staff were brilliant & nothing was too much trouble for them. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Arguably the best located hotel in Chamonix. The Savoy nursery slopes are literally just over the road from the hotel, from where the Savoy téléski lift whisks you up to the Brévent gondola, to access one of the best intermediate areas in the resort.Alternatively, the ski-bus to Chamonix's other ski areas stops just 50m away. The hotel's attractive dining room has semi-circular bay windows with stunning views of Mont Blanc. Here you will enjoy Inghams great choice of menus and complimentary quality wines for dinner. Inghams offer the conviviality of larger tables for chalet-style dining with your fellow guests, or the opportunity to dine à deux should you wish. The atmospheric lounge/bar welcomes you for your pre-dinner apéritif and canapés, or to relax after dinner over coffee and a night-cap ... more   less
