Perfect position to visit Grenoble, it could not be closer to the historical city center, the shops, the park, and great restaurants. Just consider that it was not built yesterday, therefore you can see a little bit the age, but it's a very nice building. Keep in mind that parking is expensive in Grenoble. The hotel offers to stay in...

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during month of march 2017 . The hotel is located right at the Victor hugo park . Just three tram stations from the main bus and the train station. Not sure about there parking space . Its location at the city center is a big advantage as all major tourist attraction is...

Excellent location on a beautiful square. Walking distance from the historic center, the Grenoble museum and the railway station. Tramway is right there if you don't want to walk. Room and bathroom are small, but you have all what you need. Good breakfast with great choice. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. This was my second stay and I'll return...

We had an attic room, but despite this it was quite spacious and still had a view over the square and to the mountains. Even in the attic the wifi worked well. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast - fair value if you make the most of it. Parking is now in a public, underground car park and the hotel will...

The Hôtel d'Angleterre offers a superb location on the Place Victor Hugo near the Tramway stop and, while it offers typical European accommodation (somewhat basic by American standards), it's certainly comfortable and adequate. The breakfast includes local offerings as well as more classical options.

The hotel is on the edge of the main commercial area, so there are many shops and restaurants. Our room faced the public square in front of the hotel, but the traffic noise was not audible. This hotel uses real keys, although you are not tempted to keep this one as it is heavy. Walking about with this in your...

Booked this hotel on the hoof whilst doing a motorbike tour. Grenoble was just another tick in the box for some reason. Anyway, the hotel is clean and the staff where great. They immediately realised, when we presented ourselves at the reception, that we were indeed on motorbikes and gave us access to a secure area at the back of...

This hotel has more charm and character than your typical budget hotel. The service was professional and the rooms were fairly well-equipped and clean -- dated in terms of decorating and design (there was a LOT of wicker...), but with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also decent. The location is the ace up its sleeve, and...

Stayed for one night at this hotel. Location couldn't be better (right in the center of Grenoble). Rooms are spacious, clean and cozy but old-fashioned. Check-in was rather late (3pm in the afternoon) but staff at the front desk was friendly. All in all, a good stay and would choose this hotel again when in Grenoble.

The hotel has a rich history and was once a great hotel. It's still quite nice. We had a family room for 5 on the top floor, a little cramped but sufficient for a one night stay. The location is the best thing about the hotel, it's right next to the pedestrian area with lots of shopping. We parked on...
