Cour des Loge was a wonderful part of our Lyonnaise experience! The former convent converted into this beautiful hotel was smartly appointed with a great mix of a historic framework revamped with modern touches. One of the walls of our room dates back to 1341 but the spacious bathroom was one of the most modern we've ever had. And the...

This 14th century converted seminary turned elegant hotel in the charming Vieux Lyon spares no detail. From the doors that automatically swing open to welcome you to house-made honey Madeline cookies that await your check in. We were upgraded to a junior suite with lovely black and white decor, quaint street views and luxurious appointments. A modern bath with tub...

The building was built in the 1500's and it feels like being in an old castle, but with all the modern conveniences that we require. We had a junior suite which was very large and very comfortable for our 5-day stay. We had a small patio area with a garden, that was very charming and would have been great to...

We stayed here for two nights last week the 20th and 21 st of February. I think this place is splendid as the location and the architecture cannot be beaten. The hotel is built around an inner courtyard and you step out the door and you are right smack in the old town on the cobblestones. Restaurants, cafes, shops are...

The whole team of Cour des Loges thanks you for your nice review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay because of the service we always try to improve and of course, the atmosphere which is unique and takes you back to the Italian Renaissance. As you haven't tried our starred restaurant then you should come back and enjoy the...

I ended up at the Cour de Loges hotel in Lyon quite by accident. I only stayed one evening but I will definitely try to visit again. The hotel itself is an assemblage of buildings dating back over 600 years. They incorporate these ancient buildings into a design that also has all the comforts one would expect in a modern...

Situated in the heart of the old town (the cab driver had a humorously difficult time in locating it), the hotel is a delight. I found nothing quirky or disappointing in the hotel. The room we had (10) was quite large (very large by European standards) with fine amenities, the staff was extremely helpful, the restaurant was extraordinary, and the...

I stayed here with my wife and our 3 adult children and another Australian family. There must be better in Lyon than this. It is in a very touristy area, visit the area but don't stay in it. The rooms are passé. Concierge let us down very badly on a number of fronts. Poor value. Look elsewhere

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay at Cour des Loges. We are really surprised you think the staff was disinterested. We usually have great reviews about our team who is available, professional and reactive.

Right in the middle of the old town. So good for walking 🚶 which would have been great if it was warmer. Rooms are not large however they have made the best use of the space available. Hotel building has so much history. Service is so good. Staff are wonderful and helpful. It's not too far from the train station....

The hotel is quirky, both on the good and not so good side, but overall it was a very pleasant experience. The former convent is a myriad of stairs and small corners. Not a single room is alike, which makes it novel. Or room, #56, had the bed one step up, which was dangerous when you had to get up...

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights for new year with some good friends. The hotel was really stunning on the inside with an amazing reception and medieval interior. The bar was also very lovely with a lot of atmosphere and a great bar with good but expensive cocktails. The spa looked fantastic - didn't use it, but it looked...
