Great location in Lyon. The hotel is located in a great location. You can make your way across both rivers and sightsee. The rooms are also very quite. Our room faced the main street and once the double windows were closed, it was extremely quiet. The place is clean and safe and we would stay again. It's a basic hotel... More

We picked this hotel because it looked like it was in the center of things and it was. All the high priced shopping you could ever want is a couple of minutes walk. The old town is a 5 minute walk and there are lots of restaurants in the area. Unfortunately there is no parking but there is lots of... More

Our room was clean and comfortable, easy walking distance to Old Lyon and also near the metro. The hotel manager was pleasant, helpful, and spoke very good English. Breakfast croissants and bread were very good.

We stayed 1 night in the elysee Hotel on sep 1st.Had we been staying in Lyon longer we would have remained right there.Eric the manager at the front desk was always there to help with any questions we had.The only draw back was the elevator. As you may be aware many older hotels require you to go up one floor by... We loved our stay here and had positive experiences as with other reviewers. Strong A/C in summer heat (independently controlled in the room), superb location from airport (use city link train, then transfer to pink line to Bellecoeur stop: escalators and elevators await), and close walk to attractions like the old town or big cathedral. Opted for Starbucks breakfast, which... More

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this small hotel, which is quite close to the metro at Bellcour, right in the centre of Lyon, between the Rhone and the Saône. The staff were very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable but quite small. We did have to carry luggage to the first floor before having access to a... More

This is a basic hotel. It is clean and has comfortable beds and friendly helpful staff. We had 2 double rooms and a single between us. The single was on the 6th and top floor. The lift only goes between the first and the 5th floor, so lugging of suitcases was involved. The room was tiny being under the roof,... More

Followed N.Ireland around France for the Euros 2016. This was by far the best value for money hotel during the trip. Ideal location to the city centre. Family run hotel and they could not have done enough for us during our stay . Our room over looked the main which with triple glazing was quiet and very clean and comfortable.

We have arrived so late which staff was so nice to do checkin for us. We don't expect much for two stars hotel. And we knew we have to use staircase from basement to first floor. Then we can go up by tiny elevator which is so common in old buildings. Our room is clean and has wide window to... More
