Without any doubt, its location is certainly one of the major assets of this hotel. From the hotel, you can walk to nearly all the places to visit within a 15-20 minutes walk. Fantastic! You like shopping? Hen, you will be close to paradise. Yo will find in the neighborhood all the nice shops of Lyon. Well known, top brands,...

Globe et Cecil is perfect for the independent traveller. It is quiet, well located and staffed by helpful, friendly professionals. A few simple improvements with the breakfast, in particular the bread and the coffee and it would be 10 out of 10. For me it is as near the perfect hotel as it is possible to get.

This hotel has a great location in the center of Lyon, from there you can walk everywhere. It is small and quiet, with a very friendly staff and is a very good value. They arranged a car to take us to the airport, and the driver actually took our luggage to the check-in counter, quite impressive. Would definitely stay there...

Nice, accommodating and competent staff. Could not be better. Well located. Rooms vary a great deal. Bath in one room was antique. No experience of food service or breakfast. Has some French character. It is OK.

Great service and located right in the city centre. Rooms however do vary a lot. The pictures only reflect the refurbished part of the hotels. Some rooms do urgently need a refurbishment. Mine was shocking with the wardrobe in the bathroom. Based on my experience I won't return.

It is now the second time I've used the hotel and after previous experience I am glad to say that the hotel has improved a lot. The cooling is working! The rooms are a little bit old fashioned but have everything you need for a good night or sleep. You have free WiFI. The staff of hotel is extremely friendly.

This hotel is in a fabulous part of town, very close to the main square (Bellacour), restaurants, cafes, a metro line and shopping of all kinds. The staff here could not have been more accommodating and kind. You can tell they sincerely want you to have an enjoyable stay. Had I thought ahead of time, I'd have opted not to...
