I would like to congratulate in particular Mme Marion Begoc for running an excellent front of house team; day and night. Nothing was too much trouble; they had plenty of good advice and whenever we needed something it was provided immediately. Breakfast was also well worth it; virtually everything you could think of was available. The hotel was fully Covid compliant, even though the hotel seemed very full, with sanitiser everywhere and clear instructions on how to use the facilities were also everywhere in French and good English. This was our first trip anywhere in over 2 years and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Chateau Perrache.

Lovely building perhaps from the 1700s I guess. Stunning structure but now needs a facelift before it starts to fall down. Reception is on the first floor which is a little strange and quite a walk from the main entrance, but the staff were friendly and helpful. We were given one room on the 4th and one on the 5th floors and the view from the higher floor were stunning. Rooms were small but had everything including a fridge with just water, but we could store our beers of course. We arrived very tired so we ate in the hotel which was a mistake, very poor and expensive food but we did not wish to walk out! Nothing negative to report but I feel that they need to start some serious restructuring work very soon, wonderful building tho!!

Beautiful old hotel which is woefully outdated. Be prepared to climb the stairs or wait forever forever for the extremely small elevator. The old building has tall ceilings so the stairs are longer than in modern hotels. We had a large room. But the bathroom was very small and had only a shower and no tub. The A/C did not work very well and the room never really cooled down. Breakfast was very bad. The eggs were cold and the bacon was raw. There were only machines for coffee and it was poor. It is a shame that this great building has not been updated.

Long term member of Accor. Were initially given the smallest and darkest room on the floor - insulting. Then the rooms are clearly furnished with Ibis Styles furnitures and beds but the price is not the same… and then breakfast team was under-staffed, under-trained and arrogant whilst not following minimum hygiene and COVID safety standards. Lady (Jennifer) at reception did her best but clearly the hotel management team is not here to make a good name and reputation of Accor… definitely not 4 stars and Ibis Styles provide a much better service. So to avoid!
