This was a hot period in August, but the room was way too hot (and much warmer than outside - the heat seemed to come from the bathroom and inside the hotel). I tried opening the window and ended up leaving the window open and the fan going all night and it was still too hot. Then another problem, some... More

The hotel is on a steep incline. Not suitable for disable or elderly or like us travelling with 2 heavy cases and no car. Very steep climb up from metro. The garden that is advertised is actually a park and had locals drinking in it. There are also drinkers around the metro in the evening, where there wasn't suitable lighting.... More

Location is wonderful, great views, near to great restaurants and music venues. Half way up hill from Opera House to Croixe Rousse, so must be able to manage steep walks. We were a group of five and the room was perfect for us. Beds could have been comfiest. No aircon so risk of being very uncomfortable. Shower was fine. More... More

Clean enough, but in need of renovation (bathrooms especially). Very bare bones. Beds were rock hard. Each room has a little kitchenette, which would be handy if I weren't in the gastronomic capital of France. A bit isolated as well - a healthy walk from any restaurant, cafe or bakery, and up a very steep hill. The staff didn't seem... More

you need to have a good physical condition, because it is located on a small hill. To have your room cleaned, you need to ask them. It's more like a place for students or people with no hotel expectations. They have a "fitness room"....it's not a fitness room : all devices are broken. The place is quiet and public transportation... More

This beautiful, old building is very well-located in a vibrant and artsy neighborhood within walking distance to the main sites in Lyon. Parking is free and the mini-apartment concept is cool. The kitchen is well-equipped, and I used it a few times during my 5 night stay. However, the suite was dirty-- certainly at the level of the bathroom and... More

We came to this place after a horrible experience at another hotel in Lyon. It was such an amazing surprise. Given the price we payed we were expecting a small room, instead it was a great 2 story loft. Kitchen and living space downstairs and room upstairs. It took us a whole day to realize there was a second room.... More

We stayed here for 1 night but wish we had stayed longer. The rooms are mini apartments and very nicely decorated and have good facilities. Had a private car park for use to leave the car. 10 minute walk and your in the center next to the town hall.

I was here on exchange, rooms are clean and functional, good location in a nice part of the city mid way up a hill. If self catering, shops and market all nearby. Breakfast is optional there are many places to eat out at reasonable prices in the city, so catering is not a problem. Most but not all staff are... More
