We were in Lyon for the Bocuse d'Or competition and stayed at this hotel for four days. The staff are very friendly and attentive, but the rooms are too small (no place to open suitcase) and due to a full booked hotel we had to wait in line to get breakfast. Breakfast is good enough including a variety of bread...

The third bigger city of France is a great weekend getaway! Hotel Republik is a nice, clean property with relatively small rooms. The location is amazing only two minutes from Bellecour square in the city center. The staff of the hotel was polite and helpful. Merci au revoir!!!

I really appreciate the location of the hotel in the centre of Lyon, althought in the street there are some jobsites and the noise becomes very early in the morning. Room are very small but clean. Breakfast is nothing special and costs 11euro (next time I will take it in a bar outside).

Strategic location in the city centre, nice and helpful staff, cosy room with perfect bathroom facilities, comfortable bed. Bottle of water, kettle, tee and coffee is for free. Rooms are small, but it's the city centre!

Spent the night here during an overnight stay in Lyon. Would definitely stay again without hesitation. It is a recently renovated/new hotel with immaculate rooms and a very friendly service team. The rooms are small (but this is france so to be expected) and for £80 in the centre of Lyon (2 minutes walk to the place bellecour) you really...

Good, clean hotel in a great spot. Nothing fancy but the bed is comfortable and the shower has great pressure. The check in staff were very helpful in letting us leave our luggage before we were able to check in. All in all I would return here as the room is exactly what you need for your stay in a...

While the location, wifi and air cond are good, the rooms are too, too small. A major building site across the road with 3 cranes operating makes it noisy with truck deliveries at around 5.30am and loud construction noise from about 6.30am. The corridor lighting on the 5th floor did not work for a day and a half despite our...

Had to cancel through unforseen circumstances and whilst I appreciate hotels have to charge for cancellations the hotel was non flexible on the cancellation price. We have stayed there before and found the staff ( reception especially ) to be brillient but because of there non movement on the cancellation fee we will not return on our next visit to...

This hotel is to be considered as a place to sleep, nothing more. But its location is excellent. It is located in a quiet street, a couple of hundred meters from place Bellecour, in the middle of the touristic area of Lyon and in the middle of hundreds of excellent restaurants.

The hotel is situated just off the Bellacour, with great bus and metro connections. It is pretty central to both Rhone and the Saone rivers and it is a short walk to the Rue de la Republique which seems to connect to everything. Rooms are clean and modern but VERY small. Tea and coffee making facilities in rooms. Don't waste...
