I have stayed several times in this hotel on business trips to Lyon. Very nice and big rooms and a good location. You can negotiate wi-fi to be included in the room rate and i has a good range and speed. Rooms are actually apartments with separate bathroom, toilet, kitchen, living room and bedroom. They vary in size off cause...

Other family reviews for this hotel are spot on. The large suites were great value when travelling like us as a family of 5. The staff at reception were really helpful and friendly and our stay was just perfect for a stoppever travelling as we were from Calais to South of France. The location, while a little away from the...

Stayed here on business, this is expensive, but would definitely recommend. I stayed in executive suite, it was great I had little kitchen with everything to have breakfast in suite ( supermarket around corner). The bed was really comfy with tv in room for lazy morning. Also 2 bathrooms (1 with shower/bath) tv channels not good for English only news...

I was looking for a hotel room with a kitchen because frankly I'm tired of dining alone in Lyon when the typical dinner service is 90 minutes to 2 hours. La Reine Astrid provided me with the oportunity to cook if I wanted and dine out if I wanted. The location on the C1 / 41 Bus line provides easy...

We've stayed here twice, and are hoping to go back again this year. The hotel has beautiful decor, but without being stuffy about things - we had 2 young children the first time we stayed there, 3 the second time, and were given a warm welcome both times by the staff, unlike many other hotels we have stayed in, in...

The hotel looks very nice, the rooms are very spacious and clean. That said, it is fair to say that the hotel is very noisy. Windows offer no isolation from the noise in the street, and doors no isolation at all from the corridors. Expect to get to sleep late and wake up very early. The bedding was a bit...

Stayed there 2 nights. Very nice, not very stylish but spacious and comfy. 2 minutes away from the "parc de la tête d'or" where it's nice to walk. A little bit longer to go to the city touristic center "quartier Saint Jean" but it's a nice walk along the Rhône. Would recommend it. Don't really know the price because I...

I recently stayed 5 nights at La Reine Astrid and the experience was satisfactory, except for the Internet service. This is an all-suites hotel and I ended up with a “Premium Suite” with separate living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom (tub/shower and bidet) and W.C. (tiny room for the toilet). The rooms were very large and, although the furnishings were a...

Let's leave aside the tired decor, pokey kitchenette, inconvenient location; it was the hotel manager that "managed" to really ruin our stay. We were asked for a hefty deposit and were told when we checked out that we could not get a receipt for the cancellation of our preauthorisation. The manager refused to give us anything in writing, he was...

Management Reply : We would like to bring a straight full clarification on the guest comment posted on November 1st 2010. The guest has requested upon check out that its pre-authorization receipt and amount to be cancel. This request is perfectly legitimate as we do for our entire guest. However, the credit card entity used by the client does not...
