We stayed here for one night and were quite disappointed with the hotel's value for money. The price increases nearly double for having 2 guests (€89 compared to €150). The rooms were average at best and not worth the price. Much better places to stay in the city.

Madam, Sir, Thank you for taking the time to give us your opinion and are sorry it has been negative. We have done work on the entire ground floor, with the creation of the design standard of a room for the disabled, and all of the art in the basement. We will be soon on a new phase of work...

We stayed at Hotel Saint Paul so we'd be close to the middle of Old Lyon. This place is a great place if you want to be in the middle of the very oldest section of Lyon. The proximity to cafes, bars, bouchons, and shopping is out standing. The building is very old..but you are in Old Lyon so none...

A great location and potentially a good place to stay. The room was small - not enough room for bags and two people. And not well ventilated, or air conditioned, and poor curtains. The bathroom was renovated and fine. The spiral stairs interesting. Breakfast good, and counter staff pleasant.

Booked this hotel when the Euro football tournament were in town so lots of competition and I was a little worried. More concerned when I got an email saying the reception was not open after 3 pm and you had to go to another hotel to book in. The reviews are generally fair. The rooms are small, and perhaps more...

We have stayed here before several years ago and paid for a standard room, this time we paid for a superior room, but unfortunately there was nothing superior about it. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and it was clean. The bed was against the wall.. which is always difficult, there were no bedside tables, a very small...

Firstly the good points....Hotel Saint Paul is very well located in the centre of Vieux Lyon, a minutes walk from the C3 bus route into the heart of Lyon and Part Dieu station. Considering its very central location the noise level was low. The bedding was very clean and the bed comfortable. The reception staff were helpful and pleasant. Now...

I stayed here with a friend of mine, it was the great solution: very near to the center and good breakfast. The room wasn't very big, but clean and with a view on the river, no rumors from the street. The owner was very helpful, and he indicated all the places worth seeing. The breakfast was with the croissants and...

My stay for 3 nights was ok at this hotel. The location is good and in the old town. The hotel is basically a hostel and I wouldn't call it a hotel. If you pay more than 40 euros a night, you are going to be incredibly disappointed. I paid 90 euros a night + breakfast (7 euros). The room...

Room were excellent, providing everything you need for a pleasant nights rest. Restaurants are close by and transport is easy to access. The hotel is the best value when travelling on a budget. The rooms are more than comfortable.

I wasn't expecting much because it was rated 2 stars, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was bigger that any we'd had in Paris and Munich which were rated higher. I loved the location in the heart of old town. I left the windows open on several nights and was awakened by people leaving nearby bars in the middle...
