Our three generation travelling family group stayed here for three nights. One couple were returning guests and after the recent stay, all family members will return. It is located in a glorious Hilltop peak overlooking the old city. Our family group shared two suites with separate entrances but a shared common doorway allowing a great combination of family time and...

we stayed 3 nights in December for the Fêtes des Lumiéres. Great event, lots of people. The Hotel is on the hillside just above the old town. Excellent view over Lyon but you have to walk up about 200 steps to reach the Hotel or go along the road. If there is no festival, Taxi would be the easiest. But...

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations from it's excellent staff to the beautiful room we were escorted to after a welcome drink. While their main restaurant was a bit pricey, the food was excellent and service superb. Make sure you try their breakfast as it was special! My wife and I are retired and travel frequently as a result....

I have been there several times. Mediterranean, bressan style outside, colorful. Magnificent view, great opportunity to climb from old Lyon. Lightful interiors. Excellent food and dedicated service, can always do better but imperfection are great perfection to come and overcome. What a place anyway. Hope politicians and real estate businesses do not spoil the neutrality. Then owners, please just stay...

The hotel seemed very empty and the hotel service seemed to lack the energy or attention you would expect from a top hotel. Eg when we arrived at the hotel entrance no one came out to greet or help with bags. We had to open the doors pulling the bags up the steps before someone appeared. The same on the...

The hotel property is truly magnificent , an old convent beautifully restored . The deluxe room was beautifully appointed and had a lovely garden view. The concierge staff were extremely helpful with very good suggestions for Bouchons and restaurants that were matched to our price expectations. The only slight issue was very slow bar service , but that's not too...

Walking to the hotel, we met locals and asked for directions. They said it was the best hotel in the city. It did not disappoint. Beautiful room with a view of the entire city. Superb breakfast. Staff could not have been nicer. One major note: the hotel is on a hill so access is by walking steps (220) down to...

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. Was almost at the top of the hill, overlooking Lyon. Great views and our room was excellent. Service was what was expected from a 5 star hotel. Food was spectacular. A short walk down the hill to old Lyon. Not too far from the shopping district across the river, an easy walk. Would book again...
