Wow, what a beautiful hotel, we had a truly wonderful experience during our short two day stay at Villa Florentine! Fantastic room, wonderful views of the city and great staff! Also great exercise walking up and down the steps to the city, all in all a truly great place to stay!

The staff was so attentive and the view from our room was stunning. Breakfast was so fresh and the view from the terrace over the old city was charming. The Concierge was super helpful in getting our dinner reservations in great restaurants.

Hotel is in a beautiful location with great views over the city. Rooms are small but comfortable. Bed and pillows are very good. Air conditioning is good for France. Staff are attentive and pleasant. Breakfasts are good with a wide range of foods offered. Only gripe I have is that Relais and Chateau make a big deal of giving you...

The hotel is historically interesting, beautiful and offers a wonderful view of Lyon.We had a very happy stay there en route to Cannes. It has comfortable rooms and beds but the restaurant service was v slow. Staff were excellent but dinner took three hours!

The personnel greeted us as family members. We faced a small health problem and the ladies in the reception took the decision and ordered the chef in the restaurant to prepare for us a light dinner (chicken with rice) and in general the service is excellent.

Fabulous hotel and view of Lyon! Easy walk down to the streets of Lyon, but recommend uber or taxi back up! StationEd right above theVieux Lyon (English: Old Lyon) is the largest Renaissance district of Lyon in the 5th arrondissement of Lyon, which is an easy walk down the stairs.

If you a chance to visit Lyon, the only best place to stay is Villa Florentine. It used to house religious people so it has that divine feeling as you see the whole city of Lyon from your hotel window since this hotel is on top of a hill. The staff makes you feel very special, and it has a...

The hotel is in a great location with beautiful vistas of all of Lyon. The room was clean and nicely decorated, but too small. Service wasn't very courteous at the front desk and no assistance was provided for arranging restaurant reservations and the like. The gym is in (what feels like) a cave, very cramped and hot. Breakfast was NOT...

Great hotel @ a great location. Keep in mind that you have go down a lot of steps to be in the Old Town (and you have to go back up that hill again too :-) But it is worth it. Very classy and stylish hotel, with a great history (old chapel). Staff (and concierges!) very helpful and friendly. We...
