This hotel is really convenient for the lovely old town of Lyon unfortunately it is near to many bars and noisy at night. The hotel is quirky but the rooms are rather average for the price, staff were helpful when requests made. Did not have breakfasts but had coffee and croissants at nearby bakeries.

The hotel was nicely situated on the northern borders of Vieux Lyon. Staff were very accommodating and helping. Simon in particular was responsive to our request to have rooms close to one another and on a higher floor. Coming from a huge penthouse stay at Lux 11 in Berlin, I was a initially a little disappointed in the size of...

nice, tiny and comfortable hotel in the heart of Lyon! all furniture, accessories, colours , pictures, remind the class rooms and memories ! the rooms are little, all white coloured, but comfortable- the breakfast is just simple - it is in a very pedestrian area and also 10 mins walk from the Vieux Lyon!! The rate are not to cheap...

Well situated on the Old Town side of the Saône, but just a bridge to cross towards almost every interesting venues of the Downtown, this hotel offers quite small, but nice, comfy rooms, furbished with old classroom furnitures. Old looking modern, very simple and very friendly. Highly recommended for a Lyon visit with reasonable price. Not luxury, but everything is...

We found the College hotel to be perfect for our stay in Lyon. An old renovated school with consistent school-theme throughout (lobby, hallways, and rooms), the hotel is unique and quirky in the best possible way. Rooms are bright and clean and have the expected amenities (hair dryer, tv) although not luxurious (don't expect spa-quality products). There's a fridge on...

I just spent a girls weekend at this hotel and only have good things to say about it. I never quite understood the decor but it was pretty neat. It was a mix between an old classroom, a hospital and the movie 'the shining'. The hotel has a very cool bar, terrace and is in a fabulous location for exploring...

Original design, fun atmosphere, nice breakfast and mostly artistic guests! Perfect starting point to discover this amazing city. Buy a nice bottle of wine and some local food and enjoy a picnic on the roof! Rooms are small but comfortable. Surprizing design and cosy lobby.

The location is just perfect if one's main focus is Vieux Lyon, since the 'school' is at the northern end of the main cobbled thoroughfare through the old town. The Collège is a haven to return to after a day spent exploring the tiny passageways known as 'traboules' that interconnect many of the old stone houses in this picturesque part...

It is an amusing idea - take a hotel and furnish it with old school memorabilia. Apart from the bedrooms which are tres chic. The reception desk is an old school vaulting horse - the reception area looks like a 50's senior common room. Just a delight. Fine terrace on the roof, excellent breakfast and a lovely touch - a...
