Hotel Ormelune is contemporary in style and perfectly located in the centre of Val d'Isere. Even in April we were able to ski to within 20 mtrs of the door. The Staff and management are all welcoming and very helpful The hotel has a selection of rooms, we stayed in a south facing room with balcony, it had fantastic views...

Opted for this hotel restaurant on the chalet staff's night off. What a pleasant change from the typical Savoyarde cuisine. Perfectly cooked steaks and delicious puddings were the perfect après ski feast. The staff were very welcoming and the children enjoyed the games console at the entrance to the restaurant

There isn't a better located hotel in the Val d'Isère, if you want both great access to the slopes and village. The frontage could do with a facelift, but the rest of the hotel is well decorated although slightly quirky in parts. We stayed in a family room, which was good apart from the bathroom, too dark for me and...

Don't be put off by the plain exterior. The inside decor is a feast for the eyes.Very friendly & helpful staff throughout the hotel. We had a mountain view room with a balcony. So worth it! Plenty of storage space, comfy beds& spacious bathroom.Only short walk to the slopes/lifts. We did not sample the restaurant menu but the breakfasts were delicious.A very good selection...

This was my first time to Val D'Isere and I was recommended the Ormelune hotel. I stayed in the XL suite with my two children, it was perfect. I had a large room with a sitting room and the children bunk beds which they loved. The staff are very friendly and very helpful, the hotel is very family orientated there...

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ormelune, on our reservation we mentioned we were expecting to arrive early due to the overnight eurostar. The receptionist was clearly expecting us which was a nice touch and she was very helpful. There is a great lockable storage area with showers & towels so you can freshen up, leave your luggage safely...

I spent the 1st week of February at Ormelune on a ski trip. As with most other reviewers, I was very satisfied with the accomodation, the room, the service and the breakfast. I was in a small room (209 with a nice view of the village) which has enough space to accomodate 2 people comfortably. The beds are very comfortable...

This is a great hotel. Convenient for the slopes, you can almost ski back to the hotel. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. We had a large room with a balcony and chairs facing the slopes. The restaurant serves very good food so don't be put off by the quirky decor and furnishings.

My wife and I stayed there for a week of skiing in January 2015. Overall we were more than satisfied with the services provided by the staff and the placement of the hotel is perfect, with less than 100 meters to the ski lifts and less than 100 meters to the city center. I cannot compliment the staff enough, they...

Have just returned after staying Xmas week with my family in three rooms. No doubt it's a very stylish hotel, but underneath it's a little basic. It has been converted from a Mercure Hotel and the basic structure remains. I would agree that it's little more than three star. Breakfast very basic. No laundry facilites, and (for me) no de-caff...
