First visit and it exceeded expectation especially on the service & food front and maybe the amount of Cote Du Rhone imbibed! Afternoon tea was a pleasure as was the offer to put back dinner to allow the watching of the end of the England V Ireland 6 Nations rugby - waste of time there then...

my umpteenth time with YSE (well, maybe 11th) and 2nd in Les Chardons, Really excellent value single rooms (share shower and loo on the same floor) and superb cooking from Scottie. Last year we went last week of season, this year the penultimate week which meant I could hit the Moris pub's beach night. Nowt to do with Les Chardons...

Second visit to the chalet with YSE, food is great-such a wide variety of courses and the canapés are fantastic!! the girls are really friendly and helpful. Rooms a bit small but perfect for the type of holiday skiing is! Lovely and warm and cosy! We would most definitely go back.

Ankle bruising inflicted by painful ski-boots could have brought my holiday to a sad premature end. Val’s best boot fitter was unable to satisfactorily understand and resolve the problem. So step in YSE’s boot whisperer (YSE co-founder) with 40 years of skiing and ski-boot experience! Rather than just provide verbal advice, John took the time to come over to the...

A small group of us always go to Val d'Isere for the last week of the season and meet up with a lot of old friends. After last years experience, (good), we stayed here again, and, sorry to be boring, but it was excellent again. Food was brill. Staff, even after a long season, were very professional and prepared to...

YSE have remained true to skiing lovers - well appointed accommodation and very good food! We chose this particular chalet because we wanted a lively atmosphere. We weren't wrong! The lounge area is comfortable and the staff friendly and accommodating. Our second floor room had a TV and we were able to connect to the internet.

Good quality chalet (both boot warmers and glove warmers), with above average chalet girls, excellent chef and comfortable beds. 2 minutes walk from slopes on a quiet side street. Would definitely return and would recommend.

This was our fourth stay in Les Chardons, and our ninth year with YSE. The location of the hotel is superb, right in the centre of the town, but only 5 minutes walk from the lifts to Solais and Belvarde. The hotel is small and very cosy - the rooms are simple but well appointed and the communal lounge and...

This chalet hotel by YSE has an excellent location right in the heart of the village and a stones throw away from the slopes. My husband and I had a lovely comfortable room with private facilities and a balcony overlooking a very petty church and the oldest building in the village. The spacious communal lounge is furnished with a number...

My friends have stayed with YSE and highly recommend the company. I like to be in the center of Val d'Isère so Les Chardons immediately appealed. The location is superb and surprisingly quiet despite the busy nightlife within walking distance! The Les Chardons staff are a fantastic team and go above and beyond to make your holiday special. The chef...
