The dinner we had at this hotel was outstanding. The swimming pool is small but pleasant (opens 1400 hours). There was no one to open the gates until 2 pm, even to park our car. Other parts of our stay were disappointing. We had 2 rooms. One was called a classic, the other Comfort. But it would be impossible to... More

We stayed for just one night, while attending a Jazzavienne concert and had a very mediocre experience that was far away from the pictures shown on their site ... First we had problems finding it because the road sign just has big pictogram without any name indication. Had to call to get directions, even though we had just passed it.... More

The hotel itself is full of charm with a small fountain at the entrance, a small swimming pool and a good restaurant but expensive restaurant. It reminds of a castle with creaking floor in the rooms. Some of the rooms would need to be refresh (old tapistry getting off the walls, leaking shower head). The bed was hard and not... More

This is a nice quiet little property that is a bit secluded and is well-protected (there is a gated parking area and the hotel has security-coded outer doors). Beware the business traveler: there are not many outlets in the rooms. Note, there is one near the sink, by the mirror. If you are a runner, you will enjoy lots of... More

We found this hotel (recently renovated) by accident, looking for a place to stay on our car trip to the souht of France. The price seemed OK (€65/night). The room and bathroom were clean, not big but spacious enough and the area very quiet indeed. The (so-called gastronomic) restaurant was alright but a bit expensive. The breakfast (€14 pp) is... On arrival, the person behind the desk claimed to have no record of our booking. After a few moments the situation was resolved, unfortunately the room we were shown was more like a cupboard and there was no air-con. If they had not taken our credit card details, I would have left immediately. We would have been better off in... More

We chose this hotel as we were attending a gig in Vienne and all hotels in town were fully booked. On the map it looked closer but it's a 5 kilometre walk all uphill on the way back. The owner indicated that getting a taxi either to or from town would be problematical for some reason but in fact it... More

I'd read some bad reviews of this hotel so didn't expect much, but our room was very nice and the price was stunningly low. We arrived on a day when the restaurant was closed and had trouble finding someone to check us in, but after a few rings of the bell on the desk someone appeared and told us all... More

We were heading south and decided for a change to take a break at this hotel. On arrival, we were struck by an obvious lack of maintenance to the place and our room , for which we paid extra for its allegedly "extra comfort" status was basic, small ,with a lethal shower floor. We had reserved a table in the... More
