This hotel has great service, nice rooms and is central to Baden Baden. The only drawback I saw (and see on this board) is limited parking on site. There are a couple parking garages right nearby, so don't let this discourage you. I say this in particular when you look at the price - its very reasonable for a hotel...

This hotel is a great hotel. More than his rating could express. We stayed here only for one night, during our tour of Baden Baden and we're extremely pleased. The hotel is quiet, tidy and the room was big and well furnished (look at the pictures we made). Breakfast was sumptuous in a room furnished with style. The staff was...

The hotel reminds of those hip and trendy hotels in NYC. The rooms were very comfortable and the location is superb. Breakfast was not bad, but not the best, and comprised of cold meats, various types of bread and cereal. Coffee was disgusting and it was overcooked and had a bitter taste to it. Parking is available for 9 euros...

We spent a weekend at the Merkur and were happy to be there. The room was very well appointed and comfortable with charming aspects on two sides and extremely quiet. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and overall it was a great experience.

My husband and I just returned from our first trip to Baden Baden together. We loved the Hotel Merkur. The location was wonderful for being able to walk to shopping, eating, casino, etc. We had a room with a Queen bed and sofa. The room was very large and we had plenty of space. The bathroom is a little on...

We are just back from a stay at this hotel. There are 5 car parking spaces when you arrive it is just the luck of the draw if you get one. The rooms are very tastefully furnished and are quite large. We had requested a room at the back of the hotel and unfortunately got one at the front. This...

This hotel is great! Central, close to major shops (most of the stuff in baden baden are all within walking distance). The lounge is kinda crammed but the beautifully decorated restaurant more than makes up for it. Room deco was exceptional, way beyond most european hotel's standards. You can see its mordernist-chic deco have been backed by copious amounts of...

We stayed for a quick overnight, but liked the newer decor and proximity to downtown shops and restaurants. While the room was a nice size, the bathroom was tiny. Breakfast in the morning was very good, and there was an excellent Indian restaurant near the main shops that we loved. It's an easy walk to the spas as well. Service...

We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Merkur. It has recently been updated in a nice style with modern tile and fixtures in the bath, modern furniture, and a flatscreen TV. The room was on the small side, but had plenty of storage space for bags, and a nice window, so it never felt cramped. The breakfast was good, and...
