Hotel is located on a steep hill, and faces the city. The dining room has huge windows that allow you to see the beautiful views. Our room had a private balcony with chairs which made for a wonderful place to sit and relax. The attached restaurant was DELICIOUS, highly recommend the schnitzel. Overall it was a quiet and wonderful stay.

We went for cake and coffee as a break from shopping. It was about 1:30 so it wasn't crowded the cake was good but really thin pieces. For two cakes and one coffee, and one Triberger confess we paid almost 14€ which was a lot for what we got. Also, not convenient for someone with a visibility because the ladies...

We visited Triberg some times, and always thought "that must be a cozy little restaurant".. so today we travelled to Triberg specially to eat an Apflestrudel or a cake at coffee time. Beeing a national holiday it was crowdy, and there only were a few pieces of cake. The stuff was really not friendly, when we asked for anything. A...

Came for quick bite after walk. Simple order took 30+ minutes, including olives & bread. Of the 3 tiny slices of bread, 2 were super dry. No olive oil. Lousy Aldi olives.... When trying to pay over €25 with credit card (this is a hotel!) I was rudely informed that the limit was €50, although this was nowhere displayed. Took...

We tried to have our breakfast at this restaurant/Konditorei. It was written everywhere that it opens at 9 AM. The thing is that is not really open. First, they only serve breakfast to the hotel visitors and only after this is done, they can start to open the Konditorei. Quite very often seen in the restaurants around also.

This place has character. It's not like staying in a sterile chain hotel, it looks like a family run business, and that comes with its own charm. At 40€ per night, I wasn't expecting too much. But it was clean, centrally located and had everything I needed. Had a great night sleep in the very comfortable bed. Yes, like a...

Friendly people made our check in very quickly and gave us a free ticket for waterfalls. We have learned that this place is at least 110 years old. The room is clean and the price is not to high. There is a free parking place for hotel guests.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It's nothing fancy, it just offers typical German efficiency and hospitality. My room was clean, quiet and functional. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The Restaurant offered local cuisine, and the quality of the dishes was always excellent.

Visited to buy a beautiful clock. The lady - we believe the owner's wife - checked us in and we sat to have some food. We were told there was no pasta available, so we departed for another place. The room was very dated....old carpet, old bathroom and thin walls. We woke to have breakfast the next morning at which...

We arrived pretty early and the lady running the place did not seem too friendly. We asked if we could warm up and have coffee which cost us 5 euros. The views were pretty cool. Panoramic view of the town. We had booked the room on bookings.com. Our room was not in the main house much to our surprise and...
