Came here to have lunch and just loved it! Great authentic food, of course nice drinks and friendly service. They also have rooms to stay right above the pub and they look quite nice. All located in the lovely old town. Would definitely recommend it.

Love returning to the Dubliner. Great place to stay!! Atmosphere in the bar is amazing as is the food. Plenty on the menu and all gorgeous. I've been many times to Heidelberg and always spend most of our time eating and drinking here. Can't get a better location, right on the main shopping street but surprisingly noise free at night.... Went to Heidelberg half expecting it to be a day trip, but so much to see and do, we were fortunate to find a fairly inexpensive room (80 Euro for a double) at The Dubliner, an Irish pub and hotel. Although the room was simple, it had all the necessities and we were only looking for a place someplace in... More

Really well located hotel but very disappointing accommodation. The owner described it as a boutique hotel. Far from it. We'd spent the night before in a boutique hotel in Lindau ... Sheet was torn. No wifi in the hotel despite the staff continuously telling us we had the correct password. A bunch of younger travelers seemed to be staying on... More

The Dubliner Hotel and Irish Pub is really the complete package! Let me explain; first, this establishment is owned and operated by a true Irishman from Dublin, Niall Skelly. There are 8 rooms in his Pub which are modern, neat, and clean and comfortable. The restaurant serves delicious food from Ireland as well as Germany. His chief chef is the... More

Location is good and a nice way to end the day. Nice and lively, food nice, my food was salty though. However the price was good and the beers are top quality. Could do with updates to the toilet areas.

I was very disappointed in this 'hotel'. It is more like a hostel. The entrance hall was gloomy with broken floor tiles.Had booked a single room, which of course was at the top of the house. It was absolutely tiny, more like a cell in a run-down convent. Had to up-grade to a double room, which for two people would also... More

great location in the old town, I did not even use public transport - walked arround - even to university which is not just behind the corner (the weather allowed...). Several parking houses arround (12.50 € per day) if you arrive by car. The whole experience has been interesting - starting with filling a form in the pub, with all... More

This was our first stop on a 5 week trip and was still a highlight as far as accommodation goes. The rooms were above the pub, so there are stairs to climb, but it's well lit, even in the evening, and you are given keys to the outside door to come and go as you please. The room was a... More

This bar is on the main strip and easily accessed by tram or bus. Lots of good beer choices and a friendly bar staff. No, it is not your typical German beer garden, but the prices were fair and the crowd was diverse. It was a nice place to relax with friends and listen to good music.
