This hotel works for a day or two on a business trip but nothing more. The rooms need renovation especially the bathrooms. Bathtub was broken and fitted with curtains instead. In January the room was cold and I could not warm it up for the three nights being there. Also it was very noisy as the room was facing a...

It is easy going and great hotel in Karlsruhe city center. Taxi drivers knows where it is, while took us straight to the doors of reception. Other than that, there is a door with no big sign on it. Reception is supper stylish with lobby bar. Personnel is friendly and helpful! Only draw back of lobby bar - people can...

We stayed at the hotel for a couple of days. The hotel is clean and centrally located, with tram stops right in front of hotel. Corner shop for all those little extra's needed 30m away. Excellent breakfast with lots of variety to choose from. Everything freshly made and topped up on a regular basis. The rooms were serviced daily by...

room was fine. BUT, reception is part of a smokers bar, and the entire reception area stinks of smoke. reception is actually the entrance to the smoker bar. also, the photo above is NOT representative. the hotel is just part of a downtown street, AND the hotel name is not am karlstor, it is "zi hotel". so that makes finding...

Rooms are clean and modern and the location feels different! A little hard to find and car park was full but on street parking was good. Reception staff very helpfull. The hotel was fine for one night as a family but has the feel of a place more suited to couples who would enjoy the club bar underneath the hotel.

We stayed for a single Saturday night and found the hotel to be a great spot. It is conveniently located to transport or a walk around the city centre, also a great children's playground within a short walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful at reception and dinning. We had a quiet inner twin room with an outlook into...

They have the bad habit of leaving towels in the bed as someone was drying himself in the beds....no sense at all. As consequence, I forgot to take a towel from the bed before going to shower and when I went to take it, I fell having my legs and hand hurt and a nail of the foot almost ripped...

Hotel is very centrally located and is close to the downtown. Rooms are comfortable though very small. Breakfast is great. It has a good bar and free wifi services. All shopping malls and pubs are in walking distance to the hotel. Also close to KIT

I travelled there for business reasons, but to be honest not the best hotel. There was no iron or ironing board in the hotel, and the wifi was very weak. Okay I got the room at the end of a corridor, but in todays world all rooms need wifi. It is relatively close to the centre and some shopping malls.

The hotel has very good location, it's relatively close to the railway station and the shopping area. Rooms are comfortable, well maintained and clean. Breakfasts were good. There was nothing to complain about this hotel, well maybe beside thin walls, but it wasn't inconvenient
