So far it was our best Germany/Austria experience with gasthouse. We always appreciate when owner puts his love in what he's doing. Whatever it is - food, hosting or somethings else. In this place you can see how much love and passion owners put into it. Every corner of the house has some special "detail", very cozy, gives you a...

This gentleman has attacked and insulted my wife and we removed him after one day by the police from our house. This was the first time in our whole time of beeing a hotel, that we had to experience such a bad stuff. Of course, everything is not correct in this assessment. We accept credit cards and more, but not rowdy...

Good value and would be super place to stay during ski season. Britta serves good breakfast, but does not undersrand too much English. The town is terrific and just 15 min walk to restaurants/ shopping. Reber Chocolates for coffee and cake a favorite attraction. We will definitely go back to Bad Reichenhall. Very clean. Great bier gardens and food! Klosterhaus,...

This Pension Lex is a half hour drive from Berchtesgaden, so u will need a car to get here. The owner was very accommodating, as we were coming from a long drive the first day, so we were caught in traffic, and then, we noticed the German restaurants close very early, 10pm, so we needed to eat before we come...

Nearly 500 year old farm house, renovated... Provided a great stay for us. Close proximity to Salzburg, 30 min max. Great breakfast, with fresh breads and buns, cold cuts, cereal etc, something for everyone. If you are over 6" you will have to duck down your head because the doors are from a different time era, but that adds to...

Wooden rustic interiors and all mod cons in simple but comfortable rooms. Ask for a room on the second floor (the views are probably better). Unfortunate smokey smell in an allegedly "non-smoking room" only distraction. Plentiful breakfast in morning and friendly advice on places of interest to visit. I would return, but only if the rooms were really smoke-free.

I don't know why I didn't write this sooner. My husband and I stayed at this guesthouse last Autumn on a trip through Bavaria and wanted to stay central to Salzburg and the Berchtesgaden. The Pension Lex suited our needs perfectly. We were given a clean and comfortable room with a view of the mountain on the second floor. The...
